How to apply?
1. The candidate needs to submit the Application form
online at website www.cdac.in/JHITSkill
2. The candidate needs to provide name, contact details
such as email, mobile no., etc for the registration. The
login username and password shall be generated
which will be used for logging in to the website.
3. Application form shall be filled by the candidate by
selecting the course he / she wishes to apply along
with the city, choice of Ranchi or Dhanbad where the
candidate wishes to take up the training
4. Candidate has to fill in the Category SC / ST and must
provide the Sub Caste information to which he / she
belongs.
5. The Educational credentials with marks for 10th
Standard, 12th standard, Diploma, Graduation, Post
Graduation (if available) must be mentioned.
6. Once the application is submitted the candidate has to
upload the scanned copy of his/her passport size
Photograph using the link “Upload Photograph”.
7. The Educational certificates, Caste Certificate and
Income Certificate of the candidates must be uploaded
using the link ”Upload Certificates”.
8. Admit Card for the entrance examination shall be
generated as per the schedule and can be downloaded
using the link “Admit card”.
9. The entrance exam will be conducted on June 07,
2015 at Ranchi and Dhanbad, at the address
mentioned on the admin
card.

Common Entrance Test:
The admission to the course is through a Common Entrance
Test (CET). The syllabus of the Common Entrance Test
comprises of the following:

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)
is a Scientific Society of the Department of Electronics and
I n f o r mat i o n T e ch n o l o g y ( D e i t Y ) , M i n i s t r y o f
Communications and Information Technology (MC&IT),
Government of India. Since its inception in the year 1988,
C-DAC has pioneered the development of High
Performance Computing (HPC). Towards fulfillment of this
goal, C-DAC has advented the flexible and scalable parallel
architecture, which has been realized in its celebrated
'PARAM' series of Supercomputers. Several other thematic
areas of C-DAC research include Multilingual Computing,
Professional Electronics, Software Technologies, Cyber
Security, Health Informatics, Ubiquitous Computing and
Education & Training.
About ACTS:
C-DAC has set up the Advanced Computing Training
School (ACTS) Pune to meet the ever-increasing skilled
manpower requirements of the IT industry as well as
supplement its intellectual resource base for cutting edge
research and development. C-DAC's Advanced Computing
Training School (ACTS) is dedicated to creating high quality
manpower through the designing and delivering of various
Undergraduate Diploma courses, Post Graduate Diploma
courses and Post Graduate Degree Awarding Courses.
C-DAC is committed to nation building through its
Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) and is the
first Government Lab that has expanded its horizons
globally, extending its high quality training services to
countries like Mauritius, Ghana, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,
Dubai Tanzania, Myanmar, Armenia, Belarus, Cambodia,
Lesotho, Seychelles, Grenada, Dominican Republic,
Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Japan.
Overview: Department of Information Technology,
Government of Jharkhand and Centre for Development of
Advanced Computing (C-DAC) are conducting IT Certificate
courses in the area of Business Computing, Global Support
Services, Web Technology, Android Programming, Java
Programming, Network Administration and Multimedia.
Each course is of 4 months duration (320 hours), for the
candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes
(ST) belonging to the state of Jharkhand. A total of 640
beneficiaries shall be provided IT training under this scheme.
A stipend of Rs. 1,500/- per month for SC and ST candidates
shall be provided to every student during the course duration.
Course fees of Rs. 25,000/- per candidate shall be waived off.
