The Tumut region will again deliver another fantastic opportunity for you to support the
2015 Festival of the Falling Leaf. Over many years, the festival has been a major draw card
for the region. Visitors from far and wide, along with many who still call Tumut home, will
be joining us to celebrate the colours of autumn this April.
The 2015 festival program has undergone a major transformation, with the volunteer
committee concentrating their efforts on delivering an expanded, high quality “Rock The
Turf” music festival at the picturesque Tumut Racecourse, and an Anzac inspired theatrical
performance entitled “Waiting For The Rising Sun”. The historic Montreal Theatre will be
the venue for five performances during April and May.
Building on the success of the inaugural music festival in 2014, Rock The Turf will see an
expanded performer line up, boasting major headline acts including Sneaky Sound System,
Pseudo Echo and Hart, plus many performances from talented local artists. Families will be
well catered for with children’s amusement rides, a variety of great festival food and a fully
licenced bar all set under the established English elms. At the conclusion of the evening, the
sky will be set alight with the highly anticipated festival fireworks. This event will be held on
Saturday 11th April with gates opening at 11:00am and finishing around 8:30pm.
For the first time, aside from food and beverage vendors, only sponsors will have the
opportunity to have a promotional stall site at the festival. Sponsors will enjoy a prime
position on entry in a defined area within the grounds. There will also be a designated
loading area to facilitate a smooth load in and out. Sponsors are able to pack up their stalls
at 4:00pm if they wish, to allow sufficient time to join us for the sponsor’s reception to be
held at the Racecourse function centre, prior to the commencement of the headline acts
that evening.

people come together to join in the festivities that this community have to offer. The most
