scholarship programs.
VISUAL ART SCHOLARSHIP – established in 2005 by the El
Centro Fine Arts Faculty and El Centro College’s H. Paxton
Moore Art Gallery. The Visual Arts Scholarship supports the
educational objectives and artistic goals of ECC Art students.
The scholarship is supported through fundraisers organized by
the H. Paxton Moore Art Gallery. This scholarship is for
declared art majors.
THE CECIL WALLACE FORDHAM MEMORIAL AWARDS IN
VISUAL ARTS – is an annual scholarship award to one art
student from each of the campuses in the DCCCD. Recipients
are juried and chosen by the Arts Faculty at each campus.
ABOUT FINANCIAL AID
All students seeking financial aid, including workstudy and most scholarships, must complete and submit the
FASFA form to begin the qualifying process for financial aid.

requirement and require that a student have successfully
completed a specific number of college hours at El Centro. You
can begin by talking to an advisor or counselor or to the
Financial Aid Office on campus.

The Visual Arts Club is an active participant in student
and campus life at El Centro. This club is open to any student
interested in the visual arts. Members are not required to take
