work of your hands. Kindly protect those who
trustingly come to you. You know their aspirations,
their hardships, their hopes. They look to you because
they know you will understand and protect them. You

peace and sang out in true joy through intimacy with
God's Son entrusted to you and with Mary, his tender

Todos niños y niñas que han recibido su primera

Youth Ministry & Teen Confirmation
First Communion Preparation Registration
First Eucharist Preparation is a two year process beginning
in first grade. Parents participate in their child’s faith
formation process. We offer sessions on Monday or
Tuesday; please see website or registration form for more
detailed information. Class sizes are limited, so please do
not wait to register your child. Early registrations insure you
to get your preferred day and time.
You may pick up a registration form at the Parish Office or

Liturgy of the Word for Children
June 23 & 30
Sundays, during the 10:00 AM and
11:30 AM Masses
For Children in Grades 1-4.
EDGE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS
EDGE is a Catholic middle school Youth Ministry
experience created for early adolescents in grades 6th
7th and 8th. EDGE is designed to meet the
educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs of
young adolescents. EDGE is held in the Parish Hall on
Mondays from 7-8:30 PM.
• Edge Coordinator: Lead and facilitate our
EDGE Program.
• Small Group Leaders: Lead 6th, 7th and 8th graders in
organized small group discussions.
• Drama: Present dramatic representations of the
Bible stories.
• Games/Activities: Organize community building games.
• Hospitality: (Snack/Kitchen Helper): In charge of
preparing/setting up/ clean-up of snacks for the children
We provide training for all of our programs. Participating in
Edge does not only help our children, but it also enriches and
benefits the souls of the volunteers.

Session #3 “Naked Without Shame”. This session will
look at the creation of man, his original state of
existence, the fall of man, sin, and its effects
on humanity.

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING
All boys and girls who have received their First Holy
Communion and are in at least the third grade are invited
to serve as Altar Servers. There are no fees required, just
a willingness to serve God and our Parish. Altar Servers
generally serve about once a month at the Mass they
usually attend. New servers are especially needed at the
7 AM, 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM Sunday Mass times.
The summer training schedule is as follows:
Wednesdays
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
June 26, July 3, July 10
Saturdays
10:30 to Noon
June 29, July 6, July 13
Servers must attend three of the six training sessions and
will begin serving in August.
