of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Johnstown. From 1965 until
1978 he was director of institutional
services
at Allegheny Lutheran
Homes in Hollidaysburg and Johns
town. Last served as pastor at Solo-'
mon's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Chambersburg, until his retirement
in 1985, after which he and Mrs, Nein
moved to Berwick. Surviving, in addi
tion to his wife of 47 years, Helen
(Sherman), and his mother, are his
children: Jeffrey A. Nein, Burke, Va.;
Karen Sue Murphy, Mentor, Ohio;
Kenneth S. Nein, Berlin, Germany;
and Mrs. John (Barabara Jeanne) Col
lins III, Berwick R.R. 2; seven grand

1995, at her home. Born June 24, 1933,
in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana

(Lichtenfels) Mack. Mrs. Nerone was
a member of Bethel United Presbyte
rian Church, Clyde, Pa. She was ac
tive with the Scouting program in Ar
magh and with the United High
School Band Boosters for many
years. She was one of the founding
members of the EMT services in Ar
magh with Citizens Ambulance Serv
ice. Prior to her retirement in 1995,
she was employed as a custodian for
the United School District, Armagh.
She is survived by her father, of
Clyde; two sons, Barry A., West
Middlesex, Pa., and John C. "Dude,"
Brush Valley, Pa.; three daughters:
Deborah Nerone, at home; Mrs. Jeff
(Annette) Isenberg, Pawleys Island,

Hills school districts for 25 years.
Mrs. O'Donneli retired in 1975. She
was proud of her teaching and en
joyed when a former student would
tell her how much he or she had
learned in her class. Friends will be

Orange was the son of Sterling and
Alma (Williams) Orange, he was born
July 23, 1922, in Indiana, Pa. Mr.
Orange was a member of Grace Unit

tended Washington and Jefferson Col
lege, where he was a member of Phi
Kappa Psi. He was also a life mem
ber of Indiana Fire Association, serv
ing as president and Captain of Com
pany #2. Mr. Orange acted as
president of the Indiana Optimist
Club, a life member of Indiana VFW,
Post #1989, and Indiana Elks, Chap
ter 931. Member of Indiana Moose,

ber and treasurer of Seigel Rod &
Gun Club. Mr. Orange served a nearly
50-year career with the Southwest
Central Rural Electric Cooperative,
starting from its very early days and
culminating with his last 15 years as

sistance and began a career in home
nursing care. She continued to work
until one month before her death.

her 50-year pin. Served as Eucharistic minister for the homebound and
