CONGRATULATIONS MISS JANE!
Jane Kahan, Children’s Librarian, is retiring June 30th after 23 years of
service to the Wixom Public Library. Miss Jane has been a significant
part of the Library’s growth during her tenure at the Library, including
moving into the Library’s current location and the renovation of the
Children’s Department. Her special flair is present in all of her programs
and her dedication to quality children’s literature created the wonderful
children’s collection available today. Miss Jane is looking forward to
spending time with her family and beloved cat Maxwell as well as crafting and antiquing. We wish
you the best of luck in retirement and, on the behalf of Library staff and patrons, thank you for your
many dedicated years at the Wixom Public Library!
