Annual Report for Web.pub - Center Pointe Community Church
2015 - 2016 Annual Report
Dear Center Pointe Family,
In your hand is a birds-eye view of the life and ministry of Center Pointe for the 2015-2016 Church Year. And while you
will find lots of numbers in this report, these are simply representative of the lives of the people that we are blessed to
serve. You understand that the Church is not a building on a corner, or a place to go on Sunday. The Church is the
gathered body of brothers and sisters who find themselves traveling the path of Jesus together. And while this report
gives snapshots of ministry, we know that the impact of the people that make-up Center Pointe will last forever.
Therefore, please receive this report on behalf of your Center Pointe Staff and Church Board.
As you read this report, please take time to reflect on the part you have played this past year to make Center Pointe a
faithful expression of Jesus Christ in the world. Are there ways that you and your family are being called to further your
faithfulness to this local body so that we may reach more people and shape more stories in the days ahead?
-What would it look like to take the next step in your spiritual walk with Christ?
-What people or families have come to Christ because of your life and witness?
-How are you reaching out to those of a younger generation?
-How has worship become a time for you to offer to the Lord rather than receive?
-Is God calling you to a greater level of financial support for Center Pointe and her ministry?
-How are you serving in the church?
-How are you serving in the community?
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. May we increase our efforts at being the hands and feet of Jesus in the
days ahead, both for the city of Orlando and the world beyond.
I do want to thank Marli for her ongoing love and support for me, our ministry together and Center Pointe. She is a
"compassionate-includer" of people that wants to see others come to know and experience the love Jesus has for them,
and this is most often expressed through service toward others. I cannot thank the Lord enough for bringing her into
my life. I am a better person, father and pastor because of her. Thank you, Marli! And thanks for loving us as your
pastoral family. We feel loved and supported, and we are blessed to be journeying with you.
I also want to thank our Church Staff, Church Board and our host of volunteers for this past year of service. We have seen
a great year of life and ministry unfold and I trust that we will continue to move forward as we remain faithful to the
voice of the Lord. Please continue to pray for all of our leaders! The work of the church is always rewarding, but it is not
always easy or fun. These folks commit countless hours to see Center Pointe prove faithful. Let's encourage one another
along the way.
In the meantime, we have work to do. This "crazy world we live in" continues to spin and the Great Commission is as
relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago when Jesus gave it to his disciples. Today, the Great Commission is ours- 2016 in
Orlando, Florida. We have all landed in Orlando for a purpose- that her people may come to know Jesus Christ as Savior
and Lord. May we as individuals, and therefore as a Church, prove faithful to this call. Amen!

The way forward is service and sacrifice: These
metrics will push beyond the Church’s own internal
measure to monitoring the church’s positive community
impact beyond the walls… The missional church engages
the community beyond its walls because it believes that is
why the church exists. ~ Reggie McNeal

The central task (of the church) is developing great followers of Jesus,
believing that God has created people to demonstrate his redemptive

Dear Pastor Dwayne and Church Family,
Please accept this letter as the financial report for our Fiscal Year (March 1, 2015 – February 29, 2016).
Our total revenue this year was right at 1.67 million dollars. Total expenses were 1.61 million dollars. All bills
and general/district budgets have been paid in full for the fiscal year just ended.
Our boiler fund account balance at fiscal year-end was $27,790. This is the account for major unbudgeted
expenses which may occur in the future.
Journey Early Learning Center has once again experienced excellent growth. Their financial contribution to
Center Pointe remains significant and continues to grow.
Family Christian Academy is experiencing growth in their enrollment as well. We are looking forward to
another year of partnership with FCA, growing God’s Kingdom.
Your pastoral staff and church board are continuing to work toward specific financial goals with a focus on
expanding ministry opportunities, and building a substantial contingency reserve.
Your finance team is optimistic about our growth. God is faithful and so very good. We pray that His wisdom
will continue to permeate all financial decisions, and that ultimately He is glorified in all we do.
