A place for moms, dads, grandparents and all caregivers to play
with their children while socializing with other families in an open
indoor play setting. Enjoy sessions featuring arts & crafts, circle times
and more.
Please note: Play Central follows the Grosse Pointe Public School
System Calendar so school holidays will be observed, as the
building will be closed. Play Central will not meet any day that
GPPSS declares as a “Snow Day.” Cancellations will be posted at
www.familycenterweb.org.

Hello Play Central Families!
Whether you have been with us through seasons past or are
considering trying out Play Central for the first time, we welcome
you to a wonderful new season of Play Central.
The season kicks off on Thursday, October 1st, 2015 and runs
through May 26th, 2016. We will meet Wednesday and Thursday
mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the gym at Barnes Early
Childhood Center, 20090 Morningside Drive, GPW. The cost is just
$5 per family per visit.
Your child will enjoy a large selection of toys that are new to them!
There are large motor skill toys like tricycles, toy cars, slides, and
basketball hoops as well as creative play opportunities in the toy
kitchen and grocery store. Each Play Central session features an
arts and crafts project and some brief circle time.
Play Central is a great place for your child to practice their
burgeoning social skills, to run around, and to burn off some of that
energy! The best part is when you go home- the mess stays here!
All caregivers are welcome: moms, dads, grandparents, and nannies.
Some participants come once a month, some come every session,
and some invite their friends to meet up there.
Whatever days work out best for you, we hope to see you at
Play Central!
