Dear Friends of Grosse Pointe South Baseball:
After a brutal Michigan winter, we can all take comfort knowing that BASEBALL SEASON
is once again here!!! Soon, the “pop” of the ball and the “crack” of the bat will warm
our souls.
Despite the cold weather, the Grosse Pointe South Dugout Club and head baseball
coach Dan Griesbaum have been diligently preparing for the 2015 season, and we are
asking (again, in many cases) for your important and valued financial support.
The 2014 season was another successful campaign for all three Grosse Pointe South
baseball teams and the future continues to look very promising for our program. The
varsity team had an incredible run making it all the way to the State Finals where they
put up a great effort.
Running a great baseball program has become increasingly expensive considering
uniforms, equipment, travel expenses and field maintenance. Your support, therefore,
is critical to both our near and long term success.
Please let us know if we can count on you to advertise in our annual baseball Program
Book and/or make a contribution to the Grosse Pointe South Dugout Club. The Dugout
Club is a Michigan non-profit corporation and a 501(c)(3) organization under the
Internal Revenue Service Code, so your donation may be tax deductible.
Please find attached a 2015 Advertising Agreement. Please complete this form and
return it with artwork directly to [email protected]. Hard copy agreements,
artwork and checks should be mailed to Bob Weiland at 260 Lakeland, Grosse Pointe, MI
48230 no later than May 8, 2015. If you have any questions, please contact Bob at

Monetary contributions of any size are always welcomed and appreciated. They, too,
can either be mailed to Bob Weiland’s attention, or made online by clicking the Donate
button on the team’s home page at www.gpsouthbaseball.com.
