Cleargreen™ (for Cyclic Low Energy Ammonium Removal) augments anaerobic treatment of biosolids (biological, primary, co-digestion) by removing the nitrogen overload. Cleargreen™ TECHNOLOGY... ADVANTAGES Feed, aeration and deammonification phases are divided into sub-cycles and adapt in duration and intensity according to the characteristics of the effluent to be treated. The deammonification process uses Anammox bacteria, naturally present in the environment. Cleargreen™ does not require the addition of an external seed biomass to function. The reactor is equipped with sophisticated controls, continually monitoring the system to limit human intervention.
