Jamming for a cause
We went on the road for this inaugural Sea
and be Scene feature, taking in an East Coast
Extravaganza at the Virgin Mobile Mod club
in Toronto. Great Friends, fantastic fans and
a super band gathered for a very special
concert in support of The Company
Theatre. Founded by actors Allan Hawco
and Philip Riccio back in 2005, The
Company Theatre’s award-winning
productions have been appreciated by
both audiences and critics alike. The
annual fundraiser has been growing
each year and this was their biggest –
thanks to the headliner. “That’s Alan
Doyle right,” Hawco explains. “Alan
kept adding amazing musicians to
the list and being super enthusiastic
and helpful and supportive.
Everyone’s support... it’s amazing.”
