Litter Info: Merril was a class winner at the 2012 Indiana State Fair. She is really good.
Lairds showed her because they thought she could win the show. She has a huge
massive top and hip. Her mother is one of Laird’s best mothers. We used Torge
because he has excellent base-width, clean on structure, is tall-fronted, and sires
champions. This litter should be very competitive for the WPX and STC.

Litter Info: Betty 18-2 is perfect on structure. She has big shoulder, big rib, and widelevel top. Her mother was a littermate to Raven—2009 WTC Champion Berkshire Boar.
Venom was the high-selling $46,000 Berkshire Boar at the 2012 STC. Look for pigs with
good bone, perfect legs, and excellent muscle. Watch out for this mating!

Litter Info: A mother-son mating bred for consistency to make heavy structured,
powerful barrows. Randy Shipley named King Indy “the exotic Berkshire Boar” and
Grand Champion Berkshire Boar at the 2012 Indiana State Fair. This should be a deep
litter of barrows for the STC and state fairs. Looking for the next new exciting Berk
boar!

Litter Info: Miss Magic 23-3 is one of our best young mothers, and she keeps getting
better as she matures. She is extremely correct on her feet and legs. She is heavy
boned and heavy muscled. We are truly excited about this mating. Hostile Takeover is
one of the widest-based Berkshire boars with true thickness throughout his entire
body. Look for pigs that have bone, muscle, base width and flexibility.

Litter Info: Ms Nebraska consistently raises heavy muscled pigs that gain really well.
King Indy is “the exotic Berkshire boar” that we raised and is now at Shipley’s. This
should be a deep litter for state fairs and NBS. Look for pigs with growth, bone,
structure, base width, and plenty of muscle on top.

Litter Info: Belle 3-2 is one of our most unique females. She has a huge center body
and hip. Her hind legs have good angles, flexibility and reach. Walter sired King Indy—
the Grand Champion Berkshire Boar at the 2012 Indiana State Fair. This would be an
excellent dual purpose Berkshire—show quality & meat quality. We look forward to
seeing pigs that will be boxy, big from blade to hip, and have a tremendous set of hind
legs.

with a big hip and blade. This mating with Superman is super exciting because of the
combination of two young boars with complementary strengths. There should be
plenty of muscle, style, and flexibility with bone to burn!
