At The Spinnaker we know that your wedding day is one of the most important days of
your life and we pride ourselves on endeavouring to make it one you will remember forever.
Naturally you will want it to be the perfect celebration for your partner, family and friends so
let us help you with its planning and preparation.
We have experienced and qualified professionals to assist you every step of the way
to ensure, with the assistance of the chefs and banqueting staff, that you big day runs as
smoothly as it possibly can.
WEDDING CEREMONY
The Spinnaker will hold a civil service licence to enable you to celebrate your marriage
ceremony and reception under one roof. Please contact the registrar directly to organize the
official ceremony, telephone number 01983 823233. An additional wedding licence fee will
be payable direct to the registrars.

THE STERN ROOM
The perfect room in which to hold your wedding ceremony. Our ceremony room can seat
up to 50 guests. It is decorated in tones of grey and gold and boasts a modern sound system
allowing you to play your chosen playlist throughout the ceremony. Access to this room can
be made directly from our hotel reception giving you and your guests’ privacy from the main
hotel. It also grants access out onto our garden patio for a celebratory glass of champagne
after the service.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
Our light and airy restaurant comfortably seats 60 guests. The stern room and restaurant
can be used together and this can comfortably seat 120 guests. With a private bar, stunning
chandelier and patio doors leading out into our garden, it is a lovely room to enjoy your
wedding breakfast, specially prepared by our professional team of chefs.
EVENING RECEPTION
For your evening celebrations the function room and restaurant can be connected to
create ample space for dancing, entertainment, evening buffet or seating for up to 120 guests.
With the use of a marquee on the garden patio we are able to cater for larger numbers, please
speak to the wedding co-ordinator should this be of interest. Your private bar will be licenced
until midnight and our dedicated staff will be on hand to ensure your special day ends as
successfully as it has begun.

WEDDING MENUS
Our chefs have designed a host of menu ideas and choices to cater for every taste
whether you are having a traditional wedding or an evening meal after returning from being
married abroad. We offer the best quality produce, regularly sourced from the Isle of Wight
and south coast. We offer a selection of canapés for guests to enjoy with welcome drinks on
arrival and an evening buffet menu selector for the evening reception.
Our chefs are happy to tailor menus around your needs such as adding an extra course,
providing petit fours with coffee, having a carved plated evening buffet or even a BBQ on the
patio. This can all be discussed with the wedding planner on your initial meeting.
DRINKS PACKAGES
We have various drinks packages on offer to correspond to your budget and wedding
style. Our menus can be tailored to your individual taste and to match your occasion and
arrangements. We offer a comprehensive selection of wine and champagne using local and
south coast companies to supply us. Many of our wines are sourced from private, small
vineyards from around the world that have a certain passion for their craft. The Management
team are more then happy to discuss and possibly try some of these wines to help chose the
right one to compliment your meal on your big day.
We can also supply welcome beverages, toasting drinks and after meal shorts
on request.

ACCOMMODATION
The Spinnaker boasts 13 en-suite rooms being a mix of family, twins and king sized
doubles to suit your guest’s requirements. Having been refurbished in 2015 they all have flat
screen TV’s and docking stations for your iPods/iPhones. We can also discuss rates to hold
these rooms for your special day, with a deposit, to ensure your guests are not disappointed.
We are happy to discuss rates and availability during your initial meetings with us.
We are able to provide breakfast the following day as a group, or individually, which can
be upgraded to a champagne breakfast for those who wish to extend the celebrations.
We also provide a Sunday Lunch should you wish to book a table to catch up with your
family and friends the day after.
LGBT WEDDING BLESSINGS AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS
At The Spinnaker we are delighted to partner with the LGBT community and with
our modern way of thinking and like minded staff would be pleased to help you celebrate
your special day assisting in your blessing or partnership. We have experts on hand to
ensure your event is unique, stylish and that all details are carefully planned in a caring and
professional manner.

FESTIVE WEDDINGS
Between Late November to the early part of January The Spinnaker will be lavishly
decorated in festive decorations celebrating the warmth of Christmas. Should you wish
to plan your big day around this period we would be more then happy to discuss such
arrangements.
