A herbal supplement for the liver
This herbal supplement based on honey and willow gentian is used as a
dietary supplement and to strengthen the body, especially in maintaining

As part of its range, Bilje Borca Ltd. has packages of loose, single component herbal
teas, consisting of parts of a single herb (for example, chamomile, peppermint leaf,
sage leaf, etc.). These are dried and crushed herb parts (the flowers, upper part,
leaves, etc.) used for making beverages both for enjoyment and for phytotherapy.
The herbs used come from spontaneous flora collected in ecologically clean areas,
as well as herbs grown on plantations. The processing of these plants is carried out
under the supervision of a pharmacist, in accordance with detailed specifications
for each herbal material. All herbal materials meet quality and food safety
requirements.

Tinctura Valeriane
Valerian root contains iridoid monoterpenevalepotriate, essential oil, alkaloids (actinidine,
valerianine, and valerine), sesquiterpene
ketones and acids (valeranon and valerenic
acid), tannins, and starch. Valerian (root)
exhibits sedative, spasmolitic, carminative and
mildly hypotensive properties. It helps with
stress, restlessness, anxiety, migraines, cramps,
bowel colic, rheumatic pains, etc.
GINKGO BILOBA
DROPS
Tinctura Gingko Biloba
Ginkgo biloba improves cerebral and peripheral
circulation, which increases the delivery of oxygen
to the brain. Ginkgo biloba extract has antioxidant
properties that help to neutralize free radicals, which
damage blood vessels and cause a loss of neurons,
leading to forgetfulness. It is recommended during
periods of heightened intellectual activity, for
concentration and attention span problems, and for
impaired memory. It also helps relieve dizziness and
tinnitus (ringing in the ears) resulting from vascular
problems.
HAWTHORN DROPS
Tinctura Crataegi
Hawthorn contains flavonoids (hyperoside,
quercetin, etc.), oligomeric procyanidins
(leucoanthocyanidins), and procyanidins. It has
coronary vasodilator, cardiotonic and hypotensive
properties. Hawthorn drops help in mild cases of
weakened heart function, increase blood flow and
help stabilize the heartbeat.
NETTLE DROPS
ARTICHOKE DROPS
Nettle leaves contain organic acids, free amines,
flavonoids, carotenoids, tannins, coumarin,
glucoquinine, and vitamins C and K. Nettle leaves
help with excessive bleeding (hemorrhoids and
menstruation), reduce blood glucose levels, and
act as a diuretic. Traditionally, in folklore, nettle
leaves help to ‘cleanse the blood’ and also help with
arthritis and rheumatism.
When used externally, nettle leaf tincture stimulates
hair growth.
Artichoke leaves contain flavonoids (flavonic
glicoside), acids (caffeic, chlorogenic, and
cynarin), essential oil, phytosterols, tannins,
and inulin. The active materials in the extract
help liver and gallbladder functions. The
drops increase bile secretion, regulate fat
metabolism, and are recommended as part of
an appropriate diet for lowering cholesterol
levels and triglycerides in the blood.

Echinacea drops have a non-specific
immunostimulative effect that above all
stimulates phagocytosis and results in the
increased mobility of leukocytes. The drops
are recommended for building up the body’s
natural defenses. They are used for prevention
purposes, when there is an increased risk of
infection, or to help alleviate the symptoms
of mild and moderate infections of the upper
respiratory tract (coughs, flu-like conditions,
pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and laryngitis) and the
lower urinary tract (cystitis).
Propolis is the most significant product collected
from bees and is a natural antibiotic. The main
constituents are a range of vegetable resins
and wax secreted from bees’ glands. It has
antibacterial, antimycotic, antiviral, antioxidant and
immunostimulative properties. It helps with building
up the body’s defenses and with mouth, nose, ear and
throat inflammations, as well as in the branches of
gynecology and dermatocosmetology. It also helps
with wounds to the skin and mucous membranes
through activating cell metabolism enzymes, thus
stimulating the processes of regeneration and
epithelisation of damaged tissue.
