8. Once you completed your General Application
and “Recommended Opportunities,” you can
log out.
To check your award information:
1. Log in to “myLakeland”
2. Click on “Student Services and Financial Aid”
3. Click on “Financial Aid”
4. Click on “My Award Information”
5. Click on “Award for Aid Year”
6. Select “Aid Year” from drop down box
7. Click on “Award Overview” tab
8. If you have been offered a scholarship, you
will need to accept the funds by clicking on
the “Accept Award Offer” tab.
The Award Process
Questions or concerns?
Applications will be reviewed beginning in late
spring. You will be notified via your Lakeland email
if you have been awarded a scholarship. You can
check your myLakeland account to see the amount
of your scholarship.

Scholarship Opportunities at Lakeland
Lakeland Community College is fortunate to be able
to offer a wide variety of scholarships through The
Lakeland Foundation. And now, the application is
available on-line.
4. In order to apply, you must first sign up using your
Lakeland student email address.

6. The first time you enter the system, you will
be asked to complete the general scholarship
application. Complete the application and click
“Finish and Continue.”
In order to apply for scholarships at Lakeland, you
must be an active student, meaning you have
submitted an Admissions application and you have
received your Lakeland ID number and your Lakeland
email address.
To apply for scholarships:
1. Log in to “myLakeland” (Contact the Help Desk
if you need assistance)
2. Click the “Student” tab
3. Under “myRecords” click on “Scholarship Center”
Congratulations! You have completed the
general application and have automatically
applied to all scholarships for which you qualify.
Additionally, you will see a list of “Recommended
Opportunities” that require additional information
to complete the application process.
5. A message with a confirmation link will be sent to
your student email. Open the link to activate your
account.
NOTE: After clicking the link, you may be prompted
to log in using the credentials that you set up when
you created your account.
7. Click the “Apply” next to any of the additional
“Recommended Opportunities” and complete the
requested information.
Use the buttons at the top of the screen to:
• Review or update your application
• Review your “Recommended Opportunities”
• View all scholarship opportunities
