SS4 1QF 11th March 2016 Waterman Primary School Newsletter Dear Parent/Carers, Another fantastic week of learning at Waterman. The children continue to impress me with all their work as they apply their skills and knowledge in different subjects. In PE I saw children getting fit and at the same time organizing words into different groups. They knew which words were proper nouns, nouns, verbs and adverbs. Fantastic!! I heard children reciting poems, writing suspense stories, practising spelling - getting them all correct and playing games to extend their vocabulary. Learning is important and everyone at Waterman is striving to do their best by making good progress and more. Mr Cauchi (Head of School) Dove class continue to find different ways to help them extend and practise the skills and knowledge needed to prepare for their SATs in May. In the photos the children are working collaboratively to understand area and playing boggle to extend their vocabulary. Thanks to the parent/ carers for supporting the extra homework that children are asking for to help them practise their skills. HEARTS continues to work together - As I said to the children, we continue to work with other schools in the HEARTS academy.
