Our Artwork
We have had many questions about our artwork on the
back of the bottle. We have also had many requests
from consumers such as yourself, to “A-list” rock stars
that have requested our artwork to be placed on various merchandise such as shirts, hats and other cool
things. Stay tuned for updates and availability. In future
newsletters. The artwork is loaded with meanings about
the distillery and its past.
The artist Joel Rendon was influenced by fellow artist
Message from
the President
Diego Rivera, one of Mexico most celebrated and exhibited contemporary artists. The blending of historical
appreciation and reverence for the agave, the dead, the
horse, and tequila are all evident.
The artwork is filled with symbolism and mysticism, like
Mexico and its fine elixir within the hand blown decanter
the art adorns. This artwork is part of a 10 piece series.

A busy quarter it has been.
There have been so many positive
things going here at 4 Copas it is
difficult to know where to begin.
I can say that everyone involved
here has been giving 120% and it
shows. Sales have grown dramatically, and the first quarter of 07
is on track to be our strongest
to date. Hard work enables better
luck. Thanks team!
Our participation in golf and fishing tournaments along the West
Coast has been well received. On
top of making some key industry
contacts, we have met a lot of
great people. In this issue you
will find a recap of some of the
events we have participated in
or thrown, along with some cool
pictures. People are our business,
and people make it worthwhile.
We at 4 Copas USA Inc. would
like to deeply thank you for your
support of our fine tequilas. It is
because of people like you that
we are here. Please enjoy responsibly.

Awards / Accolades
2006 was a very good year for 4
Copas Tequila here in the States.
We received some solid recognition
by both the print and broadcast media, as well as garnering some top
industry awards. This is a direct reflection of the pride and care that is
instilled by the good people South of
the border.
Wine and Spirits magazine included
4 Copas Reposado in “The Best of
2006” year end issue for tequila of
the year. Patterson’s’ Beverage Journal also gave us a great review. They
said “4 Copas was already creating
a major buzz in Hollywood”.
For the second consecutive year,
4 Copas Tequila took home gold, silver,
and bronze medals at the San Francisco
World Spirits Competition.

World famous celebrity Chef Sam Choy and 4 Copas USA partnered mid year
to promote 4 Copas Tequila. We are honored and proud to be a part of this
special relationship with Sam.
Sam and his partner Ralph flew to the distillery located in El Arenal, Jalisco at
the start of the relationship. Don Hector Galindo and crew put on a major fiesta
that included a full blown rodeo in the ring at the distillery. We look forward
to a long and fun relationship with Sam and crew. Mahalo!

The Chefs and staff at Google along with a guest
appearance by Chef Jeffrey Mora (LA Lakers Chef)
and 4 Copas USA put on a wonderful organic dinner at Google headquarters. Don Hector Galindo,
Ruth Marquina, and Hector Jr. were in attendance
to honor this special occasion. Tickets were available in advance and sold out immediately. Chefs
Josef, Jim, Wade, Jeffery and crew really out did
themselves. The menu featured 5 courses that infused the complete line of tequilas, roasted agave,
and our organic 4 Copas Agave Nectar. Thank
you to the Oasis Café team and Chef Jeffrey
Mora.

to the Tequila Aficionado”.

Our staff mixoligist Emiliano worked magic with 4 Copas cocktails this year. Emiliano was on hand for all of our major golf events, and
special parties and tastings. One of the biggest hits of his was the 4 Copas Mojito. People were amazed how wonderful they tasted.
Another smash hit were the 4 Copas Lemon drops. The delicate white ground pepper/lemon lime finish of the blanco blended superbly
with the ingredients. A typical comment was, “This is so much better tasting than a vodka based lemon drop”. The Margaritas were by
far, the star of the bar. The recipe above has been duplicated on many drink menus at many five star hotels and top restaurants and
clubs.

2006 Playboy Golf Tournament San Diego
Rancho Santa Fe, CA
Morgan Run Country Club was the setting for a great event. The Playboy Golf San Diego
Scramble was awesome. The whole mood of the affair was uplifting and people had a
fun time. ZEN Sushi Bar and Martini Lounge hosted the party the night before with many
aspiring future playmates. 4 Copas Tequila provided a bar on the outside patio, where
margaritas, mojitos, and lemon drops were served. Quite a few of the players particularly
enjoyed sipping 4 Copas Anejo while having a cigar. The tournament itself was equally
enjoyable, despite a back up on the 14th hole. 4 Copas will be sponsoring the Playboy
Golf Finals in March 2007. We will be the exclusive tequila sponsor at the Hollywood
Roosevelt Hotel party, the Playboy Mansion Party, and at the Lost Canyons Golf Course.
See you there!
Zen Sushi and Martini Bar hosted the pre-party
the night before.
4 Copas Cantina was open on the 14th hole.

Over 200 boats participated in this year’s
running of the Yamaha/WON Saltwater Rodeo. The species targeted Yellowtail and
Tuna. Team 4 Copas Fishing fished a well
planned and executed strategy that missed
being in the top three, despite catching
many quality Yellowtail. Weather was dodgy
at best, and hampered the day. After the
captains meeting, 4 Copas provided samples of the complete line of tequilas to everyone there. A good time was had by all.
