Metal frames are constructed of aluminum
or Solar Bat®’s proprietary Durolar. All other
frames are constructed of high
performance TR90. All materials are light in
weight yet rugged enough to carry the Solar
Bat® name. Temple boots and nose pads
are TCG material exclusive to Solar Bat®.
TCG (Temperature Controlled Grip) actually
increases facial grip, as the temperature
gets hotter. Solar Bat® knows you do not
want your sunglasses to use your nose as a
ski slope in hot weather.

Lens Construction
All Solar Bat® lenses are constructed of our
proprietary Noctular® lens material. Glass and
hard resin lenses are for wimps who are not
serious about outdoor performance.
The
Noctular®
material
far
exceeds
all
government standards for impact resistance
and is infinitely safer to wear than glass or hard
resin lenses. And that information is straight
from the Doc. Noctular® lenses feature the
ultimate polarizing film encapsulated within
the lens so it will never peel off or fade. We
double coat our Noctular® lenses, both front
and back surfaces, with a super scratch coat.
The Noctular® material is a total UV block and
for added protection we incorporate a UV
block into our polarizing film as well. Doc
believes that it is better to have too much
protection than not enough.
Warranty
Damaged lenses are replaced at only $15 a
lens for as long as you own the glasses. Even if
your dog chews them up!
Solar Bat® uses selective wavelength filtration to highlight
sport specific colors, while bleaching out other color
distractions. WHY POLARIZED? Glare is to your vision as
static is to your hearing. Polarization eliminates glare thus
improving visual acuity.

has a one-piece lens in a non-polarized gray tint with
a silver flash mirror and AR coating on the back
surface to reduce glare and annoying reflections.

selected frames that are available as sunglasses or
prescription sunglasses. Prescription range is +3.00 to
-3.00 up to -2.00 cyl in distance or lined bifocal, unless
otherwise noted. Tints include Amber, Gray, HiConY,
and Mossback® (no mirrors or gradients).
When
ordering prescription your order must include your PD
measurement (distance between your eyes).

All Solar Bat® sunglasses come with a plain
spoken warranty. Manufacturer’s defects
are covered for 90 days from date of
purchase. After 90 days any damaged lens
is replaced for $15.00 and any damaged
frame or frame part is replaced for $10.50
shipping and handling as long as you own
the sunglasses. Solar Bat® reserves the right
to substitute product of equal value and
warranty applies to the original purchaser.
Lens warranty does not cover changes in
prescription or lost sunglasses.
