Vancouver, BC (July 7, 2015) – Award-winning outdoor footwear maker, Treksta, announced today that
it is introducing a number of new lifestyle models at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, August 5-8,
2015 in Salt Lake City. Known for its innovative technology; including its ground-breaking NestFIT™
last, function specific HyperGrip® outsole and award-winning Hands Free technology, Treksta has
new models for travelers, walkers and those wanting the right shoe for seeing the world or the
neighborhood. Treksta’s latest footwear, available in retail outlets in spring 2016, can be seen at OR

According to Treksta’s Sales Director, Rob McCurdy, the new models all continue Treksta’s essential
mantra: Dare to be Different. “Treksta has always been and continues to be an innovator of footwear,”
says McCurdy. “We are consistently on the forefront of new technology to make footwear better,
and these latest advancements, like the world’s first Hands Free lacing system, being one of a select
group of licensees of GORE-TEX Surround technology, and our smart new WaterLock™ outsole,

Treksta’s latest shoes all share the company’s signature NestFIT construction, a dynamic system which
unites last, upper, insole, midsole and outsole to cradle the feet and support them in a fully natural
position to ensure long-term comfort and prevent muscle fatigue. Built from the scans of over 20,000
human feet, NestFIT produces an anatomically correct fitting shoe, which also incorporates a sulcus
crest, a slight ridge at the back of the toes, to support them in an altogether natural position for
greater comfort and performance.
Breeze: Ideal for general outdoor use, traveling and looking good,
the new split leather Breeze with GORE-TEX Surround is both crisp
and contemporary, just the thing for cruisin’ in style with waterproof,
breathable comfort. The GORE-TEX Surround offers 360°
breathability and ensures maximum waterproofness, while enabling

Hand Free 108: Fresh off its award-winning performance at
ISPO 2015, Treksta’s Hands Free technology is available in
several additional models for 2016, the Hands Free 103, 104, 108 (for
Men) and 109 (for Women). Each of these smart daily-use shoes
utilizes Treksta’s revolutionary Hands Free technology, foot activated
and requiring no bending over or hands to put on or lace up the shoe.
A simple internal roller at the heel cinches the laces to the desired
level of tightness, and an intuitive touch lever then opens up the
