DRESS for SUCCESS
Dress for Success is a program designed to
give our students the self confidence they
need as they mature to be successful young
adults. In life there is only one opportunity
to make a good first impression and we
want our students to have the confidence to
make that favorable impression. Schools all
over the country are doing this as a
character development program with great
success. We want to fill their “tool box of
life” with things designed to make them
more competitive in today’s high tech
world.
RECOGNITION/AWARDS
2007 Recipient of the
Palmetto Silver Award
The Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards
Program was established by the Education
Accountability Act (EAA) of 1998 Section 59
18 1100. The EAA was amended to include
awards for closing the achievement gaps in
2008 (Act 282). As an important part of the
education accountability system in South
Carolina, the Awards program is designed to
recognize and reward schools for attaining
high levels of absolute performance, for
attaining high rates of growth, and for
making substantial progress in closing the
achievement gap between disaggregated
groups.
SFI is a ”Leader in Me” School
Through Franklin Covey’s program, we are creating the vision that will
transform our school, staff, students, and community. Our efforts will
teach students to believe that they are leaders who will succeed in the
future. We will instill in our students the following skills for lifelong
success:
