Description de la mission The RCMA Group is a fast growing commodity trading company. Originally in rubber, the group
expanded in 2011 in Coffee, added Sugar in 2012 and Cotton in 2013. The head-office is
based in Singapore but the European business is managed from offices near Amsterdam and
in London. The RCMA-Group has about 160 employees globally. The Sugar team is based in
the Netherlands and in Singapore and is concentrating on global trading of white sugar in
containers from origins like Brazil, Thailand, India, EU and Guatemala to destinations in the
Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Description de la société For the sugar team in Zaandam we are looking for a trainee for our Trading/Sales department.
In direct contact with the traders, the customers and the Trade execution team, you will be
learning the world of trading sugar in containers. Your task will be to sell at destination under
the Sugar traders' guidance but also to organize the logistic execution of the contracts.

Description du profil We are looking for a Commercial/Sales trainee and primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist traders and freight traders in their daily activities
- Find and contact customers at destination.
- Extract and analyse import/export sugar data for the main producing/consuming countries.
- Active participation with the Trade Operation team to learn the logistics inside-outs.
Qualifications required:
-Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Economics/Agriculture/Supply Chain/ Logistics
-Interest in international trade & agricultural markets
-Humble approach, hands-on and curious
-Computer and analytical/statistical skills.
-Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment with a keen sense of priorities
-Need to fit within a small, dedicated and committed team
-Negotiation skills, good written & verbal communication
-Self-starter, strong desire to create results
-Ability to learn with creativity/imagination
- Full proficiency in English. Knowledge of other languages (French, Portuguese, Arabic) is a
benefit
- The ability to adapt and work on a wider scope
