Jaidyn Swartz-Weisdorfer 2014-2015 COLFAX COUNTY FAIR & RODEO JR. QUEEN Hello, everyone! I am Jaidyn Swartz-Weisdorfer and I have had the honor of representing the Colfax County Fair & Rodeo as the 2014-2015 Jr. Queen. I am the 15 year old daughter of Joy and John Weisdorfer and live east of Springer, NM. This past year has been a lot of fun and a great experience. I’ve been able to participate in several community events and fundraisers. I helped at the stock dog trials during last year’s fair by riding and working the cattle in and out of the arena. I was a hostess at the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown at the Shuler Theater, welcomed the public at the grand opening of the Tractor Supply in Raton and helped with award presentations at the 4-H Awards Banquet. I have also ridden in several community parades and rodeo grand entries over the summer. These and other activities have been a wonderful experience and I am grateful for the opportunities to promote the Queen’s Program and serve my community. I would like to thank everyone that has supported and encouraged me this past year – especially my parents and Jeannie Barnes. Thank you to the Colfax County Fair Association for the continued support of the Queen’s Program. Representing Colfax County is an honor and privilege and I encourage all young ladies to run for one of the Queen titles. Shiann Kasidy Weisdorfer 2014-2015 COLFAX COUNTY FAIR & RODEO PRINCESS Hi, I’m Shiann Weisdorfer and I am the 2014-2015 Colfax County Fair & Rodeo Princess. I am 11 years old and the daughter of John and Joy Weisdorfer. I’ve had a lot of fun representing Colfax County this past year with the Jr. Queen and Queen. I’ve helped with several events, like the fair stock dog trials where we rode our horses and moved the cattle around. I was at the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown at the Shuler Theater to welcome the public and at the grand opening of Tractor Supply in Raton. I helped hand out awards at the 4-H Awards Banquet and was at the CCFA Spring Round-Up. I’ve also ridden in local parades and rodeo grand entries. I’ve met a lot of new people and done a lot of new things. Thank you to my parents for all of their support, my sister for her encouragement to run for Princess, and to Miss Jeannie Barnes for all of her help this past year. I’ve learned a lot as the Princess and I hope to run for a position on the Colfax County Fair & Rodeo Queen team again. I also want to thank the County Fair Association for supporting us and this program.
