When they learn that the orphanage needs more than $800,000 to stay open, the three men set out to raise the money despite not possessing any skills to do so. This leads them to a wealthy woman (Sofía Vergara), her lover (Craig Bierko), her husband (Kirby Heyborne) who grew up with the Stooges at the orphanage before being adopted, and her father-in-law (Stephen Collins) -- encounters that bring Moe to the attention of MTV’s “Jersey Shore.” Based on the TV series. 92 min. Another Look – Emily Blunt When she was eight years old, Emily Olivia Leah Blunt (born February 23, 1983 in London, England) suddenly began to stutter. Her affluent parents, her father is a successful U.K. lawyer, sent their daughter to speech therapists and doctors for treatment. A few years later her teacher at the prestigious Ibstock Place School assigned twelve year old Emily a part in the school play. Almost as suddenly, Emily overcame her stutter. This is when she decided to become an actress. As a teenager, she attended Hurtwood House boarding school, which offered an outstanding theater studies course. After her first year, Blunt was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Festival. An agent saw her in a play and signed her to a contract. He found her work in several theater companies and festivals. On British TV, the 5’ 8” actress debuted in “Warrior Queen” (2003), an historic drama about an ancient Celtic leader. Her silver screen debut was in the Australian movie IRRESISTIBLE (2006) as one third of a weird love triangle. Later that year, she nearly stole the show as the terrified but awestruck personal assistant of a fashion magazine editor (Meryl Streep) in THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA (2006). This performance led to larger roles. The next year, she appeared in CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR about the Texas Congressman (Tom Hanks) who convinced President Reagan to fund Afghanistan’s war to expel the puppet Soviet government, was the member of THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB who is intrigued by her secret sexual fantasies, and she played a woman with a long time crush on recent widower DAN IN REAL LIFE (Steve Carell). In 2008, she played a publicist who co-ordinates events for THE GREAT BUCK HOWARD (John Malkovich), an egotistical washed up magician; and then she co-starred with Amy Adams as sisters who start SUNSHINE CLEANING, a company that cleans up fire damage, crime scenes and other major messes. Blunt’s first starring role was as THE YOUNG VICTORIA (2009) who became Queen of England in 1837 at age 18. The movie covers her marriage to German Prince Albert (Rupert Friend) and demonstrates how she forced Parliament to take her seriously. She was the love interest of THE WOLFMAN (2010-Benicio del Toro), a poor soul who grows hairy when the moon grows big. In an updated version of GULLIVER’S TRAVELS (2010), Blunt played the Lilliputian Princess in love with a rebel (Jason Segal). Gulliver (Jack Black) brings the romantic couple together. In the animated feature starring garden gnomes as Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers, GNOMEO AND JULIET (2011), Blunt was the voice of the Juliet. Her forbidden romance leads to a lawnmower war between feuding yard ornaments. Next, her character runs afoul of THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU (2011) when she inspires a politician (Matt Damon) to make a great speech. When she disappears, he spends the rest of the movie looking for her, hampered by unseen forces. Blunt had a cameo in THE MUPPETS (2011) as Miss Piggy’s receptionist in Paris, France. This month she appears on DVD in SALMON FISHING IN YEMEN (2011). See page 4 for the review. In 2010 Blount married John Krasinski of TVs “The Office.” 13 Video Views July 2012 4JE4LPMOJLµT .PWJF$POUFTU 8JO Match the correct title with the most appropriate clue. One entry per person. In 1988, a family of three gray whales became trapped beneath rapidly forming ice in Alaska. The story was first reported by a local newsman, who dreams of landing a job stateside and senses the whales’ plight could be his ticket to bigger and better things. His story goes national and attracts the attention of a Greenpeace activist who is his former girlfriend. Looking for positive PR an oil industry executive manages to convince the military to use its helicopters and a special ice-cutting barge to free the whales. Plummeting temperatures and the fact that the baby whale has fallen ill start to complicate matters. Inspired by a true story. 106 min. 8()5";001( $PNFEZ%SBNB Matt Damon, Scarlett Johans- son, Thomas Haden Church, Colin Ford, Elle Fanning, John Michael Higgins. Directed by Cameron Crowe. His 7-year-old daughter, Rosie, acts as if she has no time for play dates. Mee is anxious for all of them to heal, but he doesn’t know how to help the process along. But does that really mean buying a house on the outskirts of Los Angeles that comes with a zoo that he has to manage? Considering that Mee has no experience, he must rely on zookeeper Kelly Foster and her team to pull through in time to pass inspections and open for the summer season. 124 min. 5)& 4&$3&5 803-% 0' "33*&55: ( "OJNBUFE 'BOUBTZ Bridgit Mendler, David Henrie, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Carol Burnett.
