Lee con atención el siguiente artículo de divulgación y contesta las siguientes preguntas.
Mal aliento
La mayoría de las personas tiene mal aliento en ocasiones, ya sea por la mañana o después de consumir algunos
alimentos. El mal aliento crónico por otro lado, puede ser un asunto delicado y embarazoso y lo puede sufrir mucha
gente.
Las causas del mal aliento
El mal aliento proviene por lo general de bacterias en la boca, a menudo en la lengua. El mal aliento puede estar
causado por la comida, una insuficiente salud dental, el consumo del tabaco y ciertas enfermedades.
• Comida: El cepillado y el uso de hilo dental todos los días es fundamental para quitar partículas de comida que se
quedan en la boca y entre los dientes. Esas partículas pueden ser un medio de crecimiento de bacterias y causar mal
aliento.
• Una higiene dental inadecuada: Si no te limpias los dientes, las encías y la lengua de forma regular, la placa (un
depósito sin color compuesto de bacterias) puede acumularse, generando mal aliento.
• El uso del tabaco: Fumar puede causar mal aliento crónico porque el alquitrán y la nicotina se acumulan en las
superficies de la boca. Además, fumar bloquea el flujo de la saliva, lo que lleva al crecimiento de bacterias.
Pregúntale a tu doctor sobre consejos para dejar de fumar.
• Enfermedades: Enfermedades tales como infecciones de los conductos respiratorios, sinusitis crónica, goteo
postnatal, bronquitis crónica, la diabetes, molestias gastrointestinales, o dolencias del hígado o los riñones pueden
causar mal aliento.
Cómo eliminar el mal aliento
Para ayudarte a eliminar el mal aliento, asegúrate de cepillarte tres veces al día o después de cada comida; y usar hilo
dental al menos una vez al día para quitar los restos de comida, sitio que puede convertirse en medio donde viven
bacterias que pueden causar el mal aliento de la boca. Los enjuagues bucales con flúor también son efectivos para
tratar el mal aliento porque ayuda a eliminar bacterias que causan el mal aliento.

El lobo feroz descendió por el interior de la chimenea, pero cayó sobre el agua hirviendo y se quemó.
Escapó de allí dando unos terribles aullidos que se oyeron en todo el bosque. Se cuenta que nunca jamás
quiso comer cerdito
Los dos cochinitos salieron corriendo de allí. Casi sin aliento, con el lobo feroz pegado a sus talones,
llegaron a la casa del hermano mayor. Los tres se metieron dentro y cerraron bien todas las puertas y
ventanas. El lobo feroz se puso a dar vueltas a la casa, buscando algún sitio por el que entrar. Con una
escalera larguísima trepó hasta el tejado, para colarse por la chimenea. Pero el cerdito mayor puso al fuego
una olla con agua.
El lobo feroz salió detrás del cerdito pequeño y él corrió hasta su casita de paja, pero el lobo feroz sopló y
sopló y la casita de paja derrumbó. El lobo feroz persiguió también al cerdito por el bosque, que corrió a
refugiarse en casa de su hermano mediano. Pero el lobo feroz sopló y sopló y la casita de madera derribó.
El pequeño la hizo de paja, para acabar antes y poder irse a jugar. El mediano construyó una casita de
madera. Al ver que su hermano pequeño había terminado ya, se dio prisa para irse a jugar con él. El
mayor trabajaba en su casa de ladrillo. – Ya verás lo que hace el lobo feroz con nuestras casas- les dijo a
sus hermanos mientras éstos se lo pasaban en grande.
En el corazón del bosque vivían tres cochinitos que eran hermanos. El lobo feroz siempre andaba
persiguiéndoles para comérselos. Para escapar del lobo feroz, los cochinitos decidieron hacerse una casa.

Acto II
La flor morada lloraba cada día y sus lágrimas intentaban consolar a sus raíces, pero nada podía apaciguar su tristeza.
Un jueves nublado, un pájaro azul se conmovió al escuchar sus llantos y la cortó con el pico. Todas las flores
blancas celebraron que se llevaran a la flor maldita.
Acto III
Flor morada: Si vas a matarme, ¡hazlo ya! (llorando)
Pájaro azul: Mira hacia abajo. ¿Ves todos esos campos? Ahí hay uno de sólo flores rojas y a la izquierda uno de
flores rosas…
Flor morada: ¿Qué? Pero yo creí que…
Pájaro azul: Todas las flores creen que el color de sus pétalos es el único que existe.
Flor morada: ¿Cómo?
Pájaro azul: Te llevaré a un lugar y entenderás…
Acto IV
Humana: Gracias (recibe la flor morada en la mano, por parte del pájaro azul).

THE PIANIST
My name is Mia Lynne Lindstrom. I am a pianist. I began studying the piano when I was three years old. I am ten
years old now. I play the piano in the junior orchestra at the community college. We give a concert twice a year. I
am always practicing new music for the next concert.
During the school year, I take four piano lessons every week from my piano teacher, Mrs. Taylor. Mrs. Taylor
teaches piano lessons at the college. In the summer, I take two lessons every week. I practice playing the piano
about ten hours every week. I practice very hard because I want to learn everything about playing the piano. The

A typical day.
Hi, My name is Susan. I am ten years old. I am Portguese and I live with my mother, my father and my brother in
Lisbon. The day starts about 7 o´clock , when dad and mum get up. We usually have breakfast at 8 o´clock . I like
to eat cereal with milk and a toast. After breakfast my brother and I brush our teeth. We all leave the house by 8.30.
