Traffic and Weather for SkyView. The SV-ADSB-470
is a lightweight remote mounted receiver for ADS-B
IN information that utilizes an externally mounted
antenna for superior ADS-B reception.
To Obtain This Feature: You Need:

Subscription-free weather displayed on SkyView,
including NEXRAD radar, METARs and TAFS. Airport
weather data can be displayed for nearest airports
or for a specific airport identifier.

Receives ADS-B TIS-B traffic with precise location,

ADS-B ground stations. (Requires SkyView SVXPNDR-261/262 transponder, currently the only
transponder which meets the requirements.)

SkyView Mode-S Transponders
The Lowest Cost, Smallest and Lightest Mode-S Transponders Available
Integrated: Made for the SkyView System with control and annunciation appearing on the SkyView Display. The transponder module
can be mounted anywhere in the airplane that is convenient.
Traffic Information: The SV-XPNDR-261/262 receives TIS traffic for display on SkyView. TIS traffic is a US traffic service broadcast in
some US radar coverage areas. If a SV-ADSB-470 ADS-B IN receiver is also in the SkyView system, then SkyVIew will display ADS-B traffic
instead of TIS traffic. Unlike other ADS-B IN-only solutions, the SV-XPNDR-261/262’s ADS-B Out capability communicates with ADS-B
ground stations allowing them to broadcast the traffic situation specifically around your aircraft.
Small and Light with Easy Installation: At only 1 pound and 5.6” by 1.8” by 2.4”, the transponder module can fit into the smallest places
and aircraft. A quick release mounting system allows for simple installation and easy removal if needed for service.
Meets USA and Europe ADS-B Out Mandates: Note, full ADS-B Out compliance requires a TSO-C146A GPS (WAAS) to be connected.
Also, for the US, the higher power SV-XPNDR-261 will be required due to future FAA requirements.
