EXCERPT FROM NICOLE BROOMALLS JOURNEY ON WAY HOME FROM SEMINAR
My heart is so full, my mind so clear and my gratitude overflowing for God's blessing
upon myself, my unit and our area these past six months. For the first time in 5 years,
I travelled to seminar without the mental baggage that usually settles in once the plane
takes off. What a true joy to soak up the excitement for the week that lay before me,
the celebration of debuting the Burnett National Area and representing my unit on the
seminar stage. The gif ts, the cheers, the kind words, hugs and love from those who
have been watching my journey and silently cheering all along. I feel so hopeful,
enthusiastic and eager to love on my people and continue to take great care of my
customers.
Hearing from the debuting NSD's as they celebrated the moments of being on stage
seeing the fruition of their efforts fully realized. Standing backstage, giddy and
reflective on our collective paths leading up to that moment. Pam Shaw's infamous words
"My heart takes a picture" resounding in my head as I photograph my own visuals with a
very full heart. So insanely proud of Julia, Seth and her family and deeply honored to
have the privilege of being one her first line sales directors.
The gold shoes. So beautiful and yet so uncomfortable! So worth it, every blister and
squished toe. Proudly wearing my new and first director suit, feeling like I'm on top of
the world. And I simply cannot stop smiling. As Jan and Mandy shoot proud smiles my
direction, I can't help but know how good God has been. I pray that their hearts are
ready to receive what God had prepared for them this most infamous week in Dallas.
Pour your love and belief in them. Please impart your wisdom through the words I say
and let them hear what you have for them to hear, I pray.
I found myself surprised that even as a new sales director, along an elite group of
women, it is still vital to put your blinders on, be careful who you surround yourself with
and get to work. I am so humbled and grateful for the mentoring of Pam Shaw and
Julia. Listening to Leah speak at the New Director workshop, I'm floored at the
information and leadership skills I've taken for granted from the incredible women in our
area. Joanna Campbell wisely reminded me that eagles don't flock together, eagles fly
alone. I now understand that on a new level as well.
Armed with what I already now, a focus on my personal business and a renewed
commitment to my personal relationship with Christ on a daily basis, our unit has set the
course toward theTop Director Trip 2013, to Beijing, China. It doesn't have to be easy, it
just has to be possible.
