century country manor estate (whereby the drive through the
entrance itself oozes classical heritage) an array of outdoor

Ceremony & Reception Options
The Ceremony
Camp Kátur does not hold a license for civil weddings. Most couples go to the Registry Office a couple of
days prior to their Big Day & sign the legal documents then.
However, having your ceremony at Camp Kátur gives you the opportunity to marry where you want, when
you want and how you want.
Make your ceremony unique & personal.
You can work closely with some wonderfully fully trained personal ceremony experts who will give your
day & blessing the upmost personal touch & can help you write the perfect vows.

Woodland Ceremony
If you go down to the woods today be sure to catch some
magical charm! Nestled amongst beautiful tall pine trees
lies an open natural woodland area that can accommodate
up to 130 guests seated on bench seats and up to 300
standing.
The area is naturally beautiful therefore you should not
need to do too much to it other than dress it with a few
buntings, candles and flowers if you so wish.
After you tie the knot, party the night away in one of our
unique reception venues...
Orangery Pavilion
Our stunning Orangery venue, converted from a dairy
farm is still complete with original features such as
large oak beams and Georgian glassed doors that
open up onto a grassed patio area this space can easily
be transformed into the perfect Ceremony &
Reception room accommodating up to 140 guests
seated or 300 guests standing.
Additional space can be created for up to 1000 with
an adjoined marquee.
A Bar area is attached with small quirky rustic
offspring room known as the „The Rabbit Hole‟ can
be transformed into a creative space to surprise your
guests with.
Rustic Outer Barn
Our Rustic Barn is a blank canvas just waiting to be transformed with your creative talents! Part of what was an old
dairy farm this traditional Rustic Barn still has many original features with thick oak beams and exposed brick work &
with a little imagination it can easily be transformed into a unique personal setting for your Ceremony & Reception or
maybe just an additional party space alongside the inner orangery.
Outside there is plenty of extra space to add a marquee, yurt or kata tipi tent or just utilise the open space for campfire
and seating areas. To the left of the Barn is a lovely large lawn area with Pond, Mini Pitch and Put Golf making it the
perfect space to enjoy various Garden Games throughout your celebrations.
Guest capacity seated 150 seated or 300 standing. Includes staffed bar, piano, tables and chairs, fairy lights, battery
candles, fire baskets and hay bales for toasting marshmallows outside.
Glamping Meadowland
A large green open space, this 15 acre Meadow is privately secluded by large woodlands, allowing you to fully
celebrate both your ceremony & reception without any interruptions.
You can customise the space by hiring in a Pop Up structure of choice to comfortably host your celebrations in, or
stick with what is already there. Situated in the centre of the meadow, surrounded by large Oak trees that can be
dressed with hanging lanterns and fairy lights, there is a large communal Campfire that is the ideal place to finish off
the nights fun & frolics into the early hours laughing, singing & playing acoustics with all your nearest and dearest.
This space can become your own, with exclusive hire for a minimum of 2 nights for you and your guests to fully enjoy.
Our ever popular Eco Spa with its wood burning Hot Tub and Sauna plus the Podfather BBQ Pod are all included in
the exclusive hire.
The Meadow and surrounding woodland is home to a various mix of Glamping Accommodation so all your guests can
enjoy the open space of the wilderness whilst being in the heart of the Celebrations. The Glamping accommodation
within the Glamping Meadow can sleep up to 65 guests plus an unlimited amount of guests Camping should they wish
to pitch their own tents also.
Please note that costs for the accommodation are usually passed onto your guests, so you just pay for the land and pop
up venue hire.

Our in house established and highly recommended catering team
cover every food option possible, with locally sourced produce
and friendly, helpful staff they will help put the extra Wow in

Glamping village
Tucked away into the meadow and surrounded by woodland is „The Glamping Village‟ with
a mixture of quirky accommodation that can sleep up to a total of 64 guests (at maximum occupancy in each abode).
All accommodation within the Glamping Village is to be hired exclusively for a minimum of 2 nights and includes full
use of extras such as The Podfather BBQ Pod, Outdoor Eco Spa, and large open Campfire.
Glamping accommodation consists of:
3 x large luxurious Safari Tents 1x 6 berth and 2x 8 berth.
2 Geodomes with own facilities sleeping up to 4..
1 x Authentic Tipi sleeping 6.
2 x Canvas Bell Tent both 5 berth.
3 x Norwegian wooden Hobbit Pods all 4 berth.
1 x Romeo & Juliet Pod sleeps 2.
2 x Unidomes one 3 berth and one 2 berth.

Originating from Lapland called „Grillikota‟ in Finnish, Nordic BBQ cabins are the perfect indoor Barbequing solution
come rain or shine, It‟s the perfect place to extend your wedding celebrations whether it‟s the night prior, the day after
or to simply cook up a hearty breakfast feast for guests.

Eco Spa
Set on the edge of tranquil woodland, south facing our outdoor Eco Spa
enables you to sink into total relaxation with a wood burning hot tub and
unique wood burning sauna barrel it is the perfect place to unwind, whilst
listening to the sounds of local wildlife during sundown.
Don‟t forget to rinse yourself in the cold shower beforehand to feel the full
benefits of heat sizzling through your muscles.

surrounding candles and let the fairy lights twinkle for an evening of bliss

Booking Procedure
In order to secure a booking we require a 30% nonrefundable deposit of the total venue and
accommodation costs with final balance due 4 months
prior to the Wedding date. Any additional little extras
required will be invoiced along with the final balance.
Please note all prices except for Glamping
Accommodation and Land Hire are subject to VAT
charged at 20%.
Cancellations
Cancellations to up to 12 weeks prior to the event date
will only be entitled to 20% refund with the remaining
80% being non refundable. Cancellations after 12 weeks
in the run up to the event date will lose the full balance.
Extra Services and Wedding Planning
Please note that we are supplying a DIY style Venue
However we can arrange a Wedding Planner and/or
Wedding day Co-ordination planner to help eliminate
some of the pressure from yourselves should you wish.
In fact we strongly advise hiring our Day Co-ordinator
so that you don‟t need to have any involvement other
than getting ready and enjoying yourself on the day.
Alcohol
Camphill is a licensed premise and stipulates that
alcohol during the day and night of the actual wedding
event must be supplied by the Estate whether it is within
the main Orangery/Barn or by use of a mobile bar.
Should you require a special wine/champagne that we
are unable to supply a Corkage charge of £10.00 per
bottle will be charged. Please NOTE that glass bottles
and drinking glasses are prohibited in all areas except
the main Orangery Bar.
Toilets & Showers
There are 9 toilets inc 1 Disabled and 8 showers within
the Glamping Village plus another 2 Male toilets/urinals
and showers, 2 Female toilets and showers and 1
Disabled toilet within the main Orangery/Barn area.
Security
Due to the nature of the Estate and the activities
equipment dotted around the area It is mandatory that all
large functions within our grounds have Security to
ensure everyone is kept safe. Our guys are extremely
friendly, they do not dress in high viz security wear and
look intimidating! They will just blend into your
celebrations and dress for the occasion they often give a
helping hand in serving drinks, driving the shuttle bus or
generally just assisting where needed.
Cost up to up to 200 guests £350.00.
Insurance
It is strongly advised that any couples booking a
wedding take out Wedding Insurance for as little as
£20.00 It is well worth the money and covers lots of
unfortunate and unexpected eventualities.

Damage, Breakages & Respect Deposit
We ask that you and all members of your party leave
accommodation, grounds and venue as you found it, any
damages or disrespect to any properties belonging to
Camp Katur/Camp Hill ltd will have damage deposits
withheld.
