I am pleased to inform you that Dicom is offering you a fast, economical and reliable transportation service for your envelopes
and small packages, usually shipped the next day in most of Quebec and Ontario communities. GoJit will also deliver your bulky
or heavy shipments (up to 1 500 kg) from door-to-door, usually shipped the next day.
Being a Commercants de la Chaudiere member or an association partner opens the door to
wholesale prices that would otherwise be unavailable without a high business volume. After
collaborating with Dicom Express in shipping our parcels for 30 years, this shipper’s track record of
reliability and service excellence has earned our complete confidence.

MEMBERSHIP
To obtain the prices listed, you must be a member of Les Commercants de la Chaudiere.
When you use our shipping services, a $2.90 contribution will be added to your monthly invoice. This contribution
is charged only once, regardless of the number of shipments you make. This fee is not charged for the months
without use.
INVOICING
You will receive a monthly invoice by mail, including a list of your waybill numbers along with dates, weight, fuel cost
and other applicable surcharges. Please note that the last digit of the waybills is never shown.
Your invoice is payable to Les Commercants de la Chaudiere inc before the due date shown on the invoice.
Late payments (after 30 days) are subject to interest charges of 1% per month.

 Make an electronic payment, the reference number to enter is your 4-digit company membership number, also
called the transit number or Dicom department number. Enter zero first if your number has 3 digits.
 Pay by Visa or MasterCard, fax your card number, expiry date, cardholder’s name, bill number, amount and your
membership number or company name to 418 623-0443 or call 418 623-5320.
 Pay at your bank or by direct deposit, for initial information, call us at 418 653-5320 (1 800 622-5320).
After each deposit, send us the bill number, the amount and your membership number or company name by fax to

INSURANCE You must declare the value in the appropriate waybill box.

Free for $100 or less declared values. The maximum insurable is $5000. For $500 and more, you must request
a confirmation number to Commercants de la Chaudiere. To receive a collect shipment, to send a pre-paid
delivery or to be billed as a third party, it is your responsibility to tell the shipper to declare the value or not,
because insurance is at your charge. It is possible to mean a steadily and permanently insurance refusal,
using this form; www.commercantschaudiere.com/RefusAss.pdf. As specified on waybills, Dicom does not
accept the transport of high-value goods and you can claim only $4.41 per kg if the value is not declared.
Claims must be made within 60 days for a damaged parcel and within 9 months for a lost shipment.

You can include many packages in a single shipment. Affix the bill of lading to
one of the packages. On each extra package, affix a barcode sticker from the

Each package must be clearly marked with the consignee’s details. If there is
only one package, you must select the number 1 on the waybill to avoid
delays.

For large volume shipments or shipments over 150 pounds, pallets for example, it may be cheapest by
using GoJIT. You will first have to open a GoJIT account by calling 418 623-5320 (1 800 622-5320),
because a Dicom account number is not sufficient and then call GoJIT at
1 888 485-2525 for a quotation. Then you can compare the price with Dicom's
charges. You must let GoJIT know that you are a member of Commercants de
la Chaudiere to obtain the association discount.
