Our People, Our Land, Our Images will be on view at the
Sordoni Art Gallery April 9 through May 19.
This photographic exhibition features the work of
indigenous artists from North America, Peru, Iraq and New
Zealand. The exhibition is distinctive in its historical reach,
including newly discovered 19th century trailblazers,
members of the next generation of emerging
photographers, and well-established contemporary artists.
Admission is free.
The Sordoni Art Gallery is open to the public and is located
at 150 S. River St. in the Stark Learning Center. The gallery
is open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m. and is
closed for University holidays and breaks. For more

Congratulations
Naomi Hatsfelt Baker was honored by the KCACTF
Respondent with a Certificate of Merit for her direction
of Godspell. The cast earned a Certificate of Merit for
"Ensemble Acting." Godspell was produced in November.

THEATRE/MUSICAL THEATRE NEWS
Wilkes University Theatre’s production of
The Race Play by Israel Horovitz was one of
nine regional university productions invited
to the Kennedy Center American College
Theatre Festival at Towson University in
Baltimore. The production was performed
Tuesday, Jan. 15, in The Ruth Mader
Theatre, Towson University.

The visual art department has moved to the
newly renovated Bedford Hall next to the
Henry Student Center.
