Dear Colleagues
In conjunction with the SA Urogynaecology Association, we welcome you to summer in the fairest
Cape. This regional Educational Symposium promises a unique combination of workshops, didactic
lectures, debates, discussions and question – and – answer sessions. Recognized local and
international experts will enlighten us on a range of practical topics relevant to everyday clinical
experience in sub Saharan Africa. Our overseas faculty represent the finest experts in our field.
All gynaecologists with an interest in the pelvic floor prolapse and incontinence are invited. We are
pleased to offer this symposium to all delegates, including urologists, physiotherapists and colorectal
specialists. The meeting will be of interest to a broad range of practitioners including those from
abroad, and sub – Saharan Africa.
The main objectives of this symposium are:
1. To provide educational opportunities for clinicians in sub – Saharan Africa regarding both
basic and advanced urogynaecology.
2. Encourage exchange of knowledge regarding urogynaecology among attendees
3. Identity specific areas of urogynaecologic educational needs specific to the region.

REGISTRATION PROCESS AND FEES
Booking arrangements are done electronically via the IUGA website at www.iuga.org and co –
ordinated by the IUGA administrative office. Participants may also register on – site or by faxing a
printable form.
Registration fees will be:
$150.00 for IUGA members (include cost of workshops)
$250.00 for non – IUGA members – includes free one year IUGA membership + electronic access to IUJ
beginning at the completion of the Regional Symposium attended for a period of 12 months.
$75.00 for Residents /Nurses / Physiotherapists or other Trainees (with proof of residency from chairman).
All fees are in U.S dollars. All registration fees will be collected by the IUGA administrative office. On –
site registration will be co – ordinate by the IUGA administrative office with one member of the IUGA
administrative office attending the Regional Symposia.
Participants may pay registration fees by invoice, issued by the IUGA administrative office. These
registrants must fax registration forms to the IUGA office and will be manually registered. Payment by
invoiced is not encouraged.
The South African meeting Treasurer is Dr Malikah van der Schyff.
Entitlements
Full registration fees include full programme attendance, all workshop fees, and complimentary
welcome reception, on Friday 25 January 2012.
