Iscoyd Park is a romantic and
beautiful Georgian country house
This private house is surrounded by 18th Century
Parkland and stunning gardens on the borders of North
Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. Though Iscoyd is large
enough to accommodate 160 people for a wedding
reception and has recently been restored to award
winning acclaim, it still retains the character, history and
welcoming warmth of the family home that it is. This
warmth is what is so important and Iscoyd has a magical
way of making everyone feel at ease and at home.
It is a place in which contrasting qualities create a
unique and special atmosphere. The traditional, classical
and historical mix effortlessly with the contemporary
and the innovative, taking the best of the past and
combining it with the thrill of the present.

Your Gardens
Romantic and enchanting, a beautiful blend of formal
gardens and wilder places, carefully designed rose and
lavender beds, herbaceous borders and clipped hedging
contrast with areas of woodland, parkland and the lovely
Grace Ann pond.
Once dark the gardens come alive again with coloured
uplighters and fairy lights illuminating the trees, shrubs
and house, creating a magical atmosphere for your
incredible party.
There are countless places for photographs at all times
of year and with so much to explore, croquet to play and
unexpected objects to find, the gardens are perfect for
entertaining your guests.

Your Ceremony
We have a choice of two stunning rooms within the
house or the beautiful Parish Church of St Mary’s
Whitewell for your wedding ceremony.
The Garden Room
With its long aisle, series of arches and Portland stone
floor, this room is church like in feel. Light floods in
through huge windows that look out onto the idyllic
gardens beyond. Its beauty lies in its simplicity, the
proportions and the minimalist elegance. The purity
of the design means you can really make this place
your own, your flowers, your colours, your decorative
touches, your style.
The Drawing Room
This is a smaller and more intimate space. Old family
portraits and classical paintings adorn the walls, the
chandeliers, marble fireplace and beautiful wooden
floors fill this room with warmth, history and character.
St Mary’s Church
A beautiful parish church, nestled in idyllic and lovely
countryside on the edge of the Estate. It can seat up
to 150 guests. Marrying in church requires certain
Church of England conditions to be followed,

Feast and Party
The Party of Parties! Incredible food, wine, cocktails and
all your favourite people together in a beautiful place
helping you celebrate one of the greatest days of your
lives – we have been careful to design a series of spaces
that flow and work together perfectly to be worthy of
such a party.
The Permanent Marquee is connected directly to the
Garden Room via the glass sided pagoda. These three
spaces open as one for your party, providing a stunning
bar, dance floor, chill out spaces and eating area.
The Marquee itself is more an extension of the house
than a marquee. It has double glazed, floor to ceiling
glass windows with panoramic views of the garden,
hard sides, an insulated roof with large glass doors that
open onto a terrace. Inside beautiful linen linings and
stunning lighting effects are designed to work with any
decoration and colours your imagination desires.

Bedrooms in the House
We are very proud of winning the Hudson’s Heritage
Award for the UK’s Best Wedding Accommodation in
2012 and the Welsh Tourist Boards 2014 Gold Award
which we won for our three bedrooms in the main
house and our two Stable Yard Rooms. We are currently
working on additional 6 new en-suite double bedrooms
in the main house which will be ready by December 2015
taking the total number of on site bedrooms to 14.
Those who stay in the house also have use of the very
cosy Little Drawing Room where there is a library of
books, DVDs and CDs, a music system and TV.
Breakfast is served in the drawing room where we can
seat up to 40 guests.

Stables and Cottages
Laundry Cottage
The Stable Rooms
This Cottage is next door to the Stable Rooms. Full
of character, it is let on a self-catering basis. It has 3
bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large sitting room with
an enormous fireplace and sofa bed so that it can
accommodate 8 adults. The bedrooms are large enough
to have put-up beds for children if required. There is a
well equipped kitchen and good sized garden with the
possibility of a BBQ if wanted.
These 2 five star rooms are let on a B&B basis. Breakfast
can be taken in the house or the rooms. Each has underfloor heating, en-suite bathrooms, sofas, desks, wifi,
TVs, fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities, radios and
extremely comfortable beds.
Wolvesacre Mill Cottage
Situated on the edge of the estate, this charming
former miller’s cottage is a 5 minute drive from the
main house. It has 4 double bedrooms and is let on a
self catering basis.

Duration of Hire
Once you have decided that Iscoyd is the place you
would like to celebrate your wedding, you need to
consider how long you would like to stay.
Your one day, one night...
The one-day hire will give you and your party exclusive
use of Iscoyd Park and its gardens from 12.00 midday
on the day of the wedding until 10.00am the following
morning. The price includes the Bridal Suite for the
duration of hire.
Your two days, two nights...
The two-day hire will give you and your party exclusive
use of Iscoyd Park and gardens from 2.00pm the day
before your wedding until 10.00am the day after.
The hire price includes the Bridal suite for both nights
and gives a great opportunity for a pre wedding dinner
or BBQ - a wonderful way to spend the night before
your wedding.
All back for a post wedding lunch ...?
For Saturday weddings there is the possibility of
extending your checkout time from 10.00am to 4pm
to incorporate a lunch or brunch the day after your
wedding. (Please note that for bank holiday weekends
this offer would only apply to Sundays)
If you would like to extend your hire for more than two
nights, that is fine too - Please talk to our wedding team
about prices for the length of hire you would like.
