Winter Classes
and
Standard Supplies
•Classes size is limited, so please call ahead or come into the store to register. • To reserve your space, full payment for the class is due at the time you register. •If you need to cancel, this must be done 7 days prior to the class in order to receive a refund in
the form of store credit. •A full refund in the form of the original payment will be provided in the event the class is
cancelled by Tangle or we can sign you up for a different class.
•Our limited space makes it impossible to provide for children during classes. All classes are for
ages 16+ unless otherwise specified.
•If you need additional assistance to complete the class project, private instruction is available at
$20.00 per hour and should be scheduled with your teacher.
•Class members receive a 10% discount on all materials bought on class day or in preparation for
a class. We respectfully request that you purchase class supplies at Tangle. Please make your
purchases prior to the beginning of your class.

• Sewing machine in good working order with manual, power cord and foot pedal. • Extra needles, feet and bobbins for your sewing machine
• Seam ripper, sharp scissors, measuring tape, pins, hand sewing needles, fabric marking pen or
pencil, new thread to match project, sewing gauge.
• Fabric should be pre-washed, dried and pressed before class. Quilting fabric should not be

weaving classes
• Schacht Rigid Heddle loom 20” or bigger. Rental for any one day class is $5, $10 for 2 days. • Non-retractable 60” tape measure
•Scarves will be approximately 8” wide and 70” long with 6” fringe. If fringe is not desired
there will be a demonstration on sewing ends with a sewing machine.
• Towels can be for kitchen use or face towels. They will be approximately 18” x 25” and will
need to be hemmed by hand or on the sewing machine.
• Schacht looms are available to order through Tangle and all class participants will be given a
$20 off coupon to use towards the purchase of a loom.

Learn how to cut your fabric correctly, get an accurate 1/4" seam, and much more. This class is a
must for those learning to quilt and a prerequisite to all of our other quilting classes. Bring: Basic sewing supplies, you may use our rulers, mats and rotary cutters. You will choose
your fabric during class.
Prerequisite: Students must have some familiarity with their sewing machine. If you've never
sewn, we recommend taking intro to sewing machine first.

registering for the class, please fill out the form describing your equipment. Shuttles can
be ordered ahead of time through Tangle. Any class participant wishing to order a Schacht
4 harness loom will receive a significant discount from Tangle. !
