Embellished Elegance

Embellished Elegance
One stamp set, five different cards.
Everyone needs a versatile stamp set in their stash. Embellished
Elegance is exactly that. Using this stamp set and pairing it with different
colors, layouts and techniques, you get a new look every time!
My first two cards use the exact same layout, but by changing the colors
and using different stamps from the set they look completely different.
This layout is perfect when you need a quick card or if you are mass
producing. Just cut a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of white card stock, stamp,
adhere to a white card base and add sequins!

The next card is a stepped up version of the first card. While
the bottom layers are the same, the addition of another
stamped panel and a border die dress up the look.
Small stamps sometimes get forgotten in stamp sets. Use
them to create your own background or patterned paper like
I’ve done with the polka dots on this card.
This card comes together quickly. You’ll begin with a 4 x 5 1/4
inch of white card stock. Randomly stamp the whole piece
with polka dots. Cut a piece of 3 x 4 1/4 inch piece of white
card stock. Sponge, then stamp the images and sentiment.
Assemble your card.

Switching the orientation of your design always gives your
cards a new look. This clean and simple card is all about
the details.
Start with a 3 3/4 x 4 inch piece of white card stock. Do your
stamping, then add it to a white card base using
dimensionals. Cut a 1/4 inch piece of black card stock and
place it under your stamping. This addition grounds the
design. As a finishing touch, add sequins to the stamped
dots.

This last card uses a fun watercolor technique.
To create this look, first cut a piece of white cardstock to 3 3/8
x 5 1/8 and clear emboss the “happy” stamp. Add ink to an
acrylic block and spritz with water. Stamp the block down
onto the embossed card stock, then using a heat tool to move
colors around and set. Finish this design by stamping the
sentiment and leaves.
