All items must be paid for and removed by the end of the evening. Payment may be made by cash,

SILENT AUCTION RULES

Displayed with each item is a bid sheet. Persons desiring to bid must do so by writing their name,
phone number, table number, and bid amount on the sheet. Minimum raises are noted on each sheet.
2.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY A NAME BE REMOVED AFTER IT HAS BEEN
WRITTEN ON THE BID SHEET. THE BID SHEET MAY NOT BE ALTERED OR REMOVED
FROM THE BIDDING TABLE AT ANY TIME.
3.
It is the bidder's responsibility to become familiar with any restrictions on the items before bidding.
Bidders should inspect any item before bidding to determine its condition, and understand and are on
notice that they are buying the item based entirely on their own opinions. IF IN DOUBT, DO NOT BID.
4.
Silent auction winning bidders are to proceed to the auction check-out area by the Gift Shop near
the entrance of the Zoo to pay for their purchases. After payment, items may be picked up from the
designated pick-up area. All items must be collected by the end of the evening.
5.
The silent auction opens at 5:30PM and closes after the stage countdown. If two guests are
actively bidding on an item when the auction closes, it is the responsibility of the bidders to stay by the
item and advise the volunteer/staff picking up the bid sheets they wish to have a “bid off”. Bidding will be
continued until a winning bidder is determined.
