There is a great variety of high-quality restaurants on the YSU campus to satisfy our
students for breakfast, lunch, dinner and anytime in between. Whether you purchase a full
meal or just a snack, food is nearby. There are plenty of options to satisfy your appetite or
quench your thirst. Local favorites, menu items special to YSU, and national brands are all
represented.
YSU Dining is committed to providing culinary offerings to meet a variety of dietary preferences, and our food is prepared by highly-trained staff and professional chefs.

If you live in a YSU residence hall (excluding
Weller House), a Meal Plan is included in your
room and board. During the Housing sign-up process you will have the opportunity to select your
meal plan. For freshmen, the resident dining plans are your choice of either 12 or 8 meals per week for
use in the dining hall, with Flex Dollars (used at any Chartwells dining location) and Pete’s Points for dining
anywhere on campus and some off-campus locations. These plans were designed to give our students the
most flexibility and variety possible.

No matter how much time you spend on campus, YSU Dining has a Meal Plan perfect for you! Meal
Plans are convenient for students living off campus or in the nearby apartments. We offer great flexibility
in Meal Plans for Commuters, ranging from smaller plans to more extensive ones for those who eat most
meals on campus. The resident Meal Plans (above) are available to all interested students, as are these
other plans. Some plans offer bonus incentives for signing up! Meal Plans are per semester.

The Pete’s Points Plan is a prepaid
account allowing you to dine or snack at
any of our campus eateries and various off-campus locations. Your YSU ID is your
form of payment. The plan does not include meal
“Swipes” or “Flex Dollars” Instead $1 of Pete’s
Points = $1 cash. You choose how many points
you would like to add to the plan ($25 minimum).
Points can be added any time and as often as
you’d like throughout the semester at the Card
Office in the Kilcawley Center Staff Offices.

Christman Dining Commons
Located between Lyden & Cafaro Residence Halls
Our resident dining hall, an all-youcare-to-eat environment that is as
dynamic as any restaurant. Meals
are made to order at each station. In the evening,
this location transforms into Christman After Dark
featuring a unique late night menu.
The Hub, Lower Level, Kilcawley Center
Dunkin’ Donuts: Delicious coffee, donuts and
the same popular sandwich options
you have grown accustomed to!
Mondo Subs: High-quality, unique,
