Committee.

If you’re interested in joining the Pet Committee, just want to see what we’re about, or would like to
discuss an issue, please join us over Coffee & Cake at our next meeting (day and time will be posted).
Complaints?
Complaints must be
submitted in writing

and Complainant must

current
compliance with Pet
Rules & Regulations.

Mango, a 3yr old Chi-Maltipoo arrived at Pelican Point at the tender age
of 8 weeks! He was a birthday present given to Janet Loor (A205) from
her daughter Ellen who found him on EBay!! Mango loves watching
the dolphins and fishies from the porch and he loves all his canine and
feline neighbors that come and go!! Recently Ellen, moved to
Jacksonville so Mango has a 2nd home to visit and loves swimming at
Jacksonville Beach!

Fun Fact about Benji’s Breed – Shih Tzu
The full name of Benji’s
breed is “Tibetan Shih Tzu
Kou”
which
literally
means Tibetan Lion Dog.
It was named “lion dog”
because of its resemblance
to the lion and it was bred
to resemble the lion.
Mango recently had Hip Dysplasia surgery on his left hind leg due to a
minor accident and is slowly recovering with therapy! We hope Mango is
back on all fours running around with all his friends soon!

or drop off in the Red Dog Box inside the Pelican Point Club House. All photographs will be scanned and returned to
you. All photographs submitted will be printed in subsequent issues of the Pet Committee Newsletter and voted on
by the residents of Pelican Point.
Unwanted Ink Cartridges?
Why do they do that? When
dogs kick after going to the
bathroom, they are using the
scent glands on their paws to
further mark their territory.
The Central Brevard Humane Society’s “Cash
For Trash” effort is an established collection and
processing program for the recycling of laser and
ink jet printers and fax cartridges, which helps
provide shelter and care for lost, unwanted and
abused animals in our community.
Please start Saving your Empty Laser/Ink Jet
Printer or Fax Cartridges (NO Epson Print
Cartridges or Toner Bottles). Contact the Pelican
Point Pet Committee to pick up or drop your used
cartridges at the Humane Society.
