The Swedish nature
Bears
Bears live in the forest. They are black, brown and hairy. They go in winter lair
after they get enough food. Bears love blueberry and fish. Bears like to swim.
Brown bears live in the North of Sweden. Sweden has seven different species.
They can get up to 25 years old. The size of baby bears is like a squirrel
Allemansrätten
In Sweden we have something called allemansrätten. Allemansrätten means that
you can go out in the woods and pick berries, mushroom and flowers. But you also
need to take care of the nature. So you can`t break branches from the trees.
What can you do in the nature?
In the woods you can go camping if you have a tent or a caravan. But if you like
to stay two nights or more you have to ask the land owners, if he says no you
have to move your tent or caravan.
If you don´t like to go camping you can go biking, walking, riding or fishing.
Allemansrätten says that you can go biking or walking everywhere in the woods.
But is forbidden to hurt or interfere with the animals. If you like to go fishing
you can fish in which water you like. In Sweden we have many big lakes like
Vänern and Vättern.
So you can be in the woods, go biking, walking and fishing but you can´t destroy
or interfere with the nature.
