The Double FlowRider®
The Double FlowRider® is the first step to your exhilarating flowboarding experience.
Endlessly fun to ride, this wave creates a safe, non-curling, endless sheet of water
flowing at 32 km/h over a composite vinyl surface, much like a trampoline. Riders can
carve up and down the surface and perform many tricks similar to other board sports.
The easiest way to enjoy the flow is on a body board that makes it a big hit for people

The FlowBarrel®
The more dynamic of the two sheet waves at Wave House Sentosa – the
FlowBarrel® pumps 100,000 gallons of water per minute flowing as fast as 48 km/h to
create the perfect endless barreling wave.
The FlowBarrel® has become an international sensation, not just to surfers, but to all
thrill seekers alike. Flowboarding combines elements from a variety of board sports
including, surfing, snowboarding, skimboarding, skateboarding and wakeboarding.
Flowboarding has been tested by the world’s best board riders; Kelly Slater, Tony
Hawk and Terje Haakonsen have all learned the ways of the flow.

Wave House Sentosa, since its inaugural opening in October 2009, has played host
to several international flowboarding competition and lifestyle events.
Competitions include the International Flow Championships, Asian Flow Tour, Flow
Jam, and B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Board/Bike), and these have showcased flow
heavyweights from the United States, Europe, South Africa, Australia, Thailand,
Korea, Japan and Singapore showing off their skills and battling for championships in
Pro and Open Divisions. Renowned flowboarding legends such as Greg Lazarus
(US), Eric Silverman (US), Matt Lammers (SA), and Wes Fischer (SA) have graced
these competitions with their big name style and explosive action on the waves.
Lifestyle and cultural events include their signature Girls Night Out, Oktoberfest, BBQ
by the Beach, and NYE Parties.
Concerts hosted at Wave House Sentosa include big name acts such as Flo Rida,
LMFAO, Far East Movement, Lil John, I Am Giant, Jay Park, and most recently Cher
Lloyd and Julie Simmons.

The Wave Check-In, where riders can register for rides or special clinic lessons on
the Double FlowRider® or the FlowBarrel®, is located within the same building as the
Wave House Sentosa Surf Shop.
From the sunglasses on top of your head to the sandals on your feet, the Wave
House Sentosa Surf Shop is 2,000 square feet full of surf wear.
Find the perfect swimsuit, rash guard, or boardshorts to ride the Double FlowRider®
and FlowBarrel®, or the latest gear for chilling on the beach, skating along the
boardwalk, going in the ocean or getting some sun.

GETTING TO WAVE HOUSE SENTOSA
Car or Taxi
Turn onto Sentosa Gateway from the main island. Keep right when you reach a fork
in the road and you will reach the Sentosa Gantry; past the gantry, take a right turn
onto the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Artillery Avenue. Follow this road and turn
left onto Beach View. Continue along this road and you will reach the Beach Car
Park on your right. There are 600 parking lots available.
Public Transport (MRT)
Take the North-East Line or Circle Line and alight at the HarbourFront MRT Station
(NE1/ CC29). Enter Vivocity Shopping Mall and take the Sentosa Express (Lobby L,
Level 3) to the Beach Station (first train 7am, last train 12mn).
Wave House Sentosa Buggy
Complimentary buggy service is available at the Beach Station Buggy Bay for all
Wave House Sentosa visitors and customers. This complimentary service is
available daily from 10.30am to 10.30pm (buggy loops every 8 minutes between the
Beach Station and Wave House Sentosa).
