UPCOMING EVENTS April 24, 2016 Human Foosball was a Success! I would like to give a huge shout-out to everyone who came out to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of human foosball. We had an amazing turnout, with over 130 foosball participants and many more that just came to watch. One of the highlights of the event was to see such an incredible intergenerational turnout. Participants ranging in age from 5 to 85 were able to share the field together. What an amazing display of faith and fun shared by all! This event was able to raise over $2,000 for Village of Hope sponsorships for housing, education, and most importantly spreading the Word of God in Ghana. There are way too many people to thank individually for all of their hard work to make this event a success. Without your help and planning, we could not have pulled this off! I hope everyone plans to participate in this in the future! - Robert Carpenter Youth Group Retreat Recap This past weekend our high school Students went on a retreat focusing on “Sticky Faith.” We talked about life beyond high school and what it looks like to have faith in all life stages. We discussed topics like Life After High School, Identity, The Real Gospel, and how important it is to be involved in church. In the middle of all of that, we rode go-carts, played human foosball, played in a giant maze, and had way too much fun on a rope swing. As always it was a lot of fun and lots of memories were made!! Our hope is that our students and families can continue thinking about having a sticky faith. - Brian Plumb MINISTRY UPDATES If you’d like to learn more about all of MRCC’s ministries and the various ways you can serve in them, please pick up a copy of the “Ministry Opportunities” document at Ministry Central in the main lobby.
