STARTING THE NEW YEAR 2013 This week we are celebrating another
New Year. We want to remind you that we are having a New Year’s Eve
service on Tuesday, December 31, beginning at 10:45pm. Spend some
time in praise, testimonies and prayer as we transition from the year
2012 to the year 2013. Come and celebrate God’s goodness with us.
ORDINATION SERVICE On Sunday, January 13, we will be celebrating
another milestone in the life of our church, the ordination of another deacon.
Brother George McLellan, who is already serving in this role, will officially be
inducted through the ordination process as an active deacon of the church.
This special service will be at 3pm, and would like every member to
participate.
IT IS TIME TO PLAN As we begin this New Year of opportunity, it is important
for us to know where God is leading us and that requires some planning from
our perspective. Please make a note of these meetings that we hope will help
us specify some programs and activities in the life of our church this year.
Building and Grounds will be meeting on Saturday, January 5th, at 10 am.
Outreach Ministry will be meeting on Thursday, January 10th, at 7pm.
Education Ministry will meet on Sunday, January 27th, immediately following
the worship time.
