Move On When Ready Program Through OTC
The Move On When Ready Dual Enrollment Program (MOWR) provides high school students the
opportunity to “jump start” postsecondary education during the high school years. Once a student
meets the admissions requirements and is accepted to Ogeechee Technical College, the high school
student will be free to “move on” earlier to the next educational level.

My name is Jalin Knight and I’m a senior at Southeast Bulloch High School. I’m dual-enrolled under the Move On When Ready
program at Ogeechee Technical College. I chose OTC because it’s close to home, has a small friendly atmosphere, and accredited
sonography program. My long-term goals are to have an associate’s degree in sonography and a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation
Therapy. I hope to one day work in a children’s hospital and fulfill my dream of helping sick children. I love working with children
in any way possible and I currently work with my parents and their children’s mentoring program. I have been volunteering and
working with children since I was 11 years old. My dream for the future is to do all I can to make an impact in the community by
helping children. I hope working hard in school and learning all I can to help children will one day pay off and make a difference.
There’s nothing like the one-on-one attention you get when you’re part of Ogeechee Tech. It’s so helpful being surrounded by a small
group of teachers and students that are working together and pushing each other to be great. That motivates me to achieve my
dream of helping others. That’s what makes me OTC!
