The Sonography program at Ogeechee Tech is
a competitive, highly structured program that
equips students with the skills they need to
achieve educational and career goals in the field
of sonography. Sonographers use specialized
equipment to CREATE AND INTERPRET IMAGES
from inside the human body that are used
by physicians to make a medical diagnosis.
Sonographers are a KEY MEMBER OF A
HEALTHCARE TEAM and provide one on one care
to a variety of people ranging from healthy to
critically ill. US Bureau of Labor Statistics cite a
projected 24% GROWTH in employment by 2024.
