We had about 325 racers with 14 from Medford Lakes. Most racers came from PA and NJ. Racers ranged from age 14 to 71. You can see all the results at www.dqtridu.com – under the “Results” section, click on The Medford Lakes link. The results show the city and state people are from and you can see people come from all over to this great event in our GREAT town! Special thanks to our amazing Medford Lakes Police (just coming off the demands of the Canoe Carnival just a few weeks ago) who were once again out making sure the triathlon ran safely for all - Thank-you MLPD! Our Borough crews, ambulance crew and fire emergency teams were also very supportive. There were many, many amazing colony volunteers that came out early and helped in many areas – thank you so much. We had two local sponsors that deserve our thanks and our business: Medford Lakes’ colonists Del Rossi family with Chad’s Complete Auto Repair in Cherry Hill. Thanks to you all! A special shout out to Ken Wolson for his dedication and perseverance making this fundraising event for Medford Lakes Colony a reality. Distinguished speakers and interactive workshops will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the wake of the school violence at Sandy Hook School in Connecticut in December 2012, the church began a peace initiative aimed at God’s call for peacemaking and the non-violent life. Three interactive workshops will be offered from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. They will include “Peace Be With You” by Cara McCray, a practicing holistic nutrition consultant as well as a meditation, yoga, and qi gong instructor; “Alternatives to Violence” by Rev.
