Posture Clinic (includes 1 hour lunch break)
Yoga Class
The lecture will cover the subject of Bikram Yoga.
In the Posture Clinic, we will cover in detail all of the 26 Postures, and Pranayama breathing of Bikram’s
Beginning Yoga Class.
We will cover the specifics of the techniques, benefits, and individual
idiosyncrasies of the Postures. Each participant can get individual corrections and questions answered.
Jim is one of only a few Bikram teachers authorized (and encouraged) by Bikram Choudhury to do these
Seminars. He’s been on the senior faculty of Bikram’s Teacher Training, and Teacher Re-Certifications
since 1998. He has participated in numerous Seminars with Bikram, acting as his assistant on a few. He
has done Seminars and Bikram Teachers Clinics in Singapore, Boulder, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Las Vegas,
Dallas, New York City, and has judged the Finals of the International Yoga Asana Championships since
2005. Jim keeps it as close as possible to the way Bikram has done his Seminars.
Students with active Class Cards or Unlimited Memberships (BYCI, SD): $50 - pre-registration ($60 at the door)
Actively Certified (or Re-Certified) Bikram Teachers: $35 - pre-registration ($45 at the door)
All others: $60 - pre-registration ($70 at the door)
