Established over thirty years ago, the Company has retained and
maintained the traditional methods of preparing and curing fish and
meats of all kinds. It is our commitment to quality, the ingredients we
use and the service we provide, that has won such overall acclaim for
our smoked products.
We have always believed that our vital ingredient is Time. The shorter
the time from catch to Smokehouse, the better the quality, and the
more sumptuous the flavour. For this reason we source many of our
products locally and you can watch the fishermen land their daily
catch if you visit our factory shop at Glasson Dock. However, if this is
too far for you to come you can always visit our stall at one of the
many events we attend throughout the year or order online.

Delivery and packaging information
Returns Policy
To ensure freshness, orders will be despatched overnight for next day
delivery Monday - Thursday. In order for parcels to arrive the following
day, orders must be placed by 1pm for same day dispatch.
If you have any problems with your order,
please call 01524 751493 between Monday
to Friday, 9:00am until 5:00pm. We will investigate
and respond to any complaints within five working days.
Goods are normally packed in frozen gel packs manufactured by Softbox,
perfect for keeping food fresh and cold. They are non-toxic and food safe.
We use distinctive recyclable outer boxes clearly showing our Smokehouse
logo and contact details, making ideal presentation boxes.

The cost of sending an international parcel and delivery times depends
on your country destination. Please contact us for a quote.
Delivery Policy
We deliver to an address, not a named individual. If you have any special
delivery instructions please ensure you put these in “special instructions”
on the order form. When no one is available to accept the item, a card will
be left informing the recipient of the attempted delivery and where the
parcel can be collected from.
For buildings with multiple occupancy the complete address must contain
business name or department details and telephone number to allow a
delivery to be completed. Please ensure that the recipient's telephone
number is included for both UK and overseas deliveries.
All our products are carefully checked and leave our premises in perfect condition.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
The Port of Lancaster Smokehouse cannot be held responsible for any parcels,
which are undelivered due to the incomplete or incorrect addresses given by
the customer.

Lancaster Smokehouse LTD. If we find that any other company has used one of our
pictures without prior permission, they will be required to remove it and they will

occasion of a product not being available.
Cancellations and returns
We regret that once an order has been placed it is not possible to cancel it and full
refunds cannot be given as our foods are produced to order. In the unlikely event
of a product being unsatisfactory, please contact us immediately.

Every care has been taken to ensure that all prices and descriptions in our
catalogue are correct at time of print. In the case of any errors you will be given
the opportunity to cancel your order.
