in the best hall on campus! Some of my
favorite activities are sitting in the
window and watching squirrels, being
brushed and eating cat treats. If you

Welcome to Stavig Hall!
Hello future Stavig residents! My name is Whitney
and this will be my second year as a Hall Director in
Stavig and Career Counselor. Before coming to Augie, I
received a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science at the
University of South Florida and earned my Master’s
degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida. I don’t miss the beach much but I do miss living 45 minutes from
Disney World!
The coolest job I ever had was working in an arena because I got to
see free concerts such as Green Day and The Killers. I enjoy college
football and NHL hockey and I’m hoping to keep up my perfect
attendance at Augie home football games. Some of my favorite things to
do are bike riding when the weather is nice, watching movies and TV and
reading mystery novels. I also love traveling. In the past year I’ve been to
England, Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands and I am always thinking
about where my next adventure will be.
I am very excited to get to know each of you and help the Peer
Advisors plan fun activities to make your year in Stavig more memorable.
My door is always open whether I am in the Career Center or in Stavig, so
feel free to stop in any time!

northern Black Hills, so needless to say I love spending time out doors doing things
such as hunting, fishing, Mt. biking, camping, you name it. With my degree I plan on

My name is Kirsten Hastings and I'm a sophomore here at Augie. I'm working on a
double major in Communication Studies/Business and Art. Someday I will be working
in marketing, although my dream job would be working for a rich lady as a personal
shopper! Coffee is the love of my life, with Star Wars and the band Train coming in a
close second. I also very much enjoy cuddling. It just so happens that I am gluten
intolerant, so if anyone is in need for a wheat-free pizza party I'm totally down! I
simply love to hang out and can't wait to meet new friends in Stavig!

Hey guys my name is Dylan West! I am a junior at Augustana College, originally
from Farmington, MN, studying Exercise Science and Psychology for Physical
Therapy. My hope is to go in to Prosthetic Rehab and work with Army Veterans in
Washington D.C, BUT until then I am livin’ it up on Stavig7! Its going to be an epic
year and my hope is you TOO are ready for the Awesomeness that’s going to go
down! A little bit about me. I enjoy alien hunting, eating mom's home baked cookies,
squirrel watching, playing Mario Party & Mario Kart on any game console (along
with many other games), Watching Bones, and of course doing homework! Its going
to be a great year and I am really excited to be a PA and live on the best floor in the
building, but until then live up your remaining summer and be prepared to
experience what is going to be ONE AMAZING YEAR!
