This annual is dedicated to the students and faculty who have had to work and study in an overcrowded school building. To the students who, for the most part, have cooperated to the utmost with the faculty this year, and to the faculty for thefine job they have done. This book is dedicated to you------ We of the Annual Staff hope that this yegrbook wi 11 bring you many pleasant memories of the past school year. We hope the pictur es re- mind you of the happy times at Roosevelt. The will and prophecy are all in fun. - If you enjoy the 1952-53 annual give thanks to the Vocational School for the photographs, and to a small group of students who spent many hours putting the book together. 3 r PRINCIPAL VICE-PRINCIPAL ..- WY,yiN P'.0 // 26 1 (t.9'LARYI GEORGE B. Besides being the first class to go all the way through the new Roosevelt Junior High, it was the largest class to be graduated from the school. Two hundred and twenty-one people received their diplomas at the class graduation. A new subject, Latin, was introduced to the ninth grade this year. A class record that included all the outstanding people and events of the past year would be much too long to print in this book. Each student should have his own fond memories of the ninth grade activities. The ninth grade graduation and dance was a fine climax to a very successful year. -!:It r lj491 NINE ONE Row 1: Paden, Perry, Starmer, McEwen, Parker, Chittick, Parish.
