humanity and the gift of redemption from God.
Essential to our values and mission is the
recognition of a need for a life-giving relationship

When was this school started?
Washtenaw Christian Academy was originally
formed as Saline Christian School by The First
Assembly of God in Saline. The school was
founded in 1975. In 1999, the school became an
independent organization and adopted the name
Washtenaw Christian Academy.

What is the school governance structure?

What is your teacher/student ratio?
Our overall ratio is approximately 1 teacher to 15
students. Current class sizes vary from 8 - 24
students.
Are we members of a school organization?
Yes, we are members of A.C.S.I. (The Association for
Christian Schools International). You are
encouraged to check out their website at

Silent Auction Rules
Live Auction Rules
Below are a few silent auction rules to help make the evening go smoothly and avoid any
confusion.
Below are the live auction rules, again to help make the process smooth and fair.
1. All items in the silent auction have bid sheets affixed nearby. Persons desiring
to bid must do so by writing on the bid sheet their initials, bidder’s number
and amount of their bid.
2. Each increasing bid must equal or exceeding minimum increase stated on the
bid sheet in order to constitute a valid bid. All bids must be in whole dollar
amounts.
3. Each new bid must be written in the top-most blank line available on the bid
sheet.
4. The silent auction will be closed at various intervals throughout the evening
by the master of ceremonies. The closing bid highlighted by the table
monitors constitutes the winner.
5. In the event of dispute, the auction official shall act as the final authority and
shall determine the winning bidder. The official’s decision shall be final.
6. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THE BID SHEET BE REMOVED
FROM THE TABLES DURING THE BIDDING.
7. All items and services must be used within time limits specifically stated and
are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donor, if any. All
certificates expire on April 24, 2016, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
8. All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges on items unless
otherwise stated. While every reasonable effort has been made to describe
each item correctly, all items and services are sold “where is” and “as is.”
9. Payment by the successful bidder must be made immediately following the
LIVE auction. One may pay with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard. AMEX or
Discover. There will be a fee of 2.75% for payment with credit cards.
PAYMENT IN FULL THIS EVENING IS MANDATORY.
10. Successful bidders may claim their items by presenting their paid receipts to
the auction monitors.
11.Checkout of all purchases will begin at 9:30 pm.
12.The estimated fair market value of the items purchased is reflected on your
sales receipt. This information is being provided to assist in determination of
the appropriate tax treatment for the purchased item.
13.A copy of the purchaser’s name, address, and phone number will be given to
the donor for their records of certificates and verification of purchase.
WCA Benefit Auction & Dinner • April 24, 2015
1. The Auction will begin promptly at 8:00 pm April 24, 2015 and continue
without interruption until all items have been auctioned.
2. All bidders, by virtue of accepting a number, agree they have read the auction
rules and agree to be bound thereby.
3. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer may settle the
matter or may immediately put the lot up for sale again and resell to the
highest bidder. The decision of the auctioneer shall be final and absolute.
4. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any and all bids if deemed
inappropriate to the item selling. The auctioneer’s decision in this matter is
final.
5. Although the utmost effort has been made to accurately describe the sales
lots, the auctioneer and principals shall not be responsible for correct
description, authenticity, genuineness, or any defect in any lot, and make
absolutely no warranty in connection therewith. NO allowance will be made
or sale set aside, on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging, or
imperfection not noted. NO deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as
all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold “as is” and without
recourse.
6. All auction items must be removed by the purchaser at their own expense
from WCA.
7. Statements or corrections made in regard to lot descriptions during the sale
take precedence over the printed material.
8. Payments by the successful bidder may be made immediately following the
LIVE auction. PAYMENT IN FULL THIS EVENING IS MANDATORY. You
may use cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover. There will be a
fee of 2.75% for payment with credit cards.
9. There will be NO exchanges or refunds on items, except where stated.
10.All items and services must be used within TIME LIMITS SPECIFICALLY
STATED and are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donor,
if any. ALL CERTIFICATES EXPIRE ON APRIL 24, 2016, UNLESS
OTHERWISE STATED.
11.The estimated fair market value of the item purchased is reflected on your
sales receipt. This information is being provided to assist in determination of
the appropriate tax treatment for the purchased item.
12. A copy of the purchaser’s name, address, and phone number will be given to
the donor for their records of certificates and verification of purchase.
