WCA Impacts Lives for the Lord
WCA administrators received a surprise visit from
alumnus, Breon Allen, during their weekly administrative meeting on Tuesday, January 12. Breon graduated from WCA in 2011 and attended Snow College in
Utah where he played football before transferring to
Eastern Carolina University to finish his college football career. Breon has most recently been coaching
college football at Minot State University in North Dakota. He will be attending a developmental football
league training camp in February as the next step in
pursuing his semi-professional football career.
When asked what he appreciated most about
Warner Christian Academy, and what made a difference in his life , Breon said, “The close family environment, definitely!” He felt like a lot of kids do not feel
the love at other schools because there are so many
students in the classroom and you can get lost. He
also felt that “going to church on Thursdays… and being able to touch God” had a huge impact on his life.
Breon was grateful for the family environment here
at Warner Christian Academy because it made a difference in his life and he said, “I don’t know where I
would be if I didn’t come here!”
WCA administrators all agree that the highlight of any day is to have an opportunity to visit with
WCA alumni and get updates about how the Lord has
been leading in their lives. It is a blessing to know that
Warner Christian Academy continues to impact lives
for the kingdom. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Words from the Superintendent...
“...For I am persuaded beyond
doubt (am sure) that neither death
nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and
threatening nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation
will be able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ Jesus
Jesus our Lord...” - Romans 8: 38-39
As we quickly approach that time of year when Valentine’s Day becomes the main focus of the greeting
card and confectionery industries, the term “love” is
thrown around in a multitude of ways for marketing
purposes. But, I believe, it behooves us to consider
once again the meaning of true love, and what true
love truly looks like. I have often heard that “love” can
be broken down into three types; I love you “if,” I love
you “because,” and I love you “regardless”. The first
type requires that an individual do something to earn
someone’s love. The second type requires that someone has earned someone’s “love” because of something they’ve done. The third type requires nothing,
and is therefore the only type of true love. This is also
the definition of Christ’s love.
In reading the scripture quoted above, we read how
nothing at all can separate us from the love of God; no
demonic powers, nothing we fear or dread and nothing
we say or do. There is nothing at all, in all of creation
that could separate us from God’s love, or stop Him
from loving us. It’s very much how we love as parents.
We love our children despite anything they may say or
do. We may not like, or agree, with certain behaviors,
but the children themselves we still love.
Imagine how much more so is it with God? His love for
us is so much more than the love we have for anyone
else. God’s love is unconditional love! If we are willing
to accept His free gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, no matter what you say or do, God’s love will never fail. In
that, you can be assured! Happy Valentine’s Day!
In Christ’s love,
Mark W. Tress
School Superintendent
For a service project Mrs. Margison’s second
grade class wrote cards and collected items to
give to residents and nurses at Bishops Glen
in Holly Hill. They packed fifty bags of candy
for the residents living there and filled two
baskets for the nurses to enjoy. The children
were able to bless others and learning the
selfless act of giving through serving others.

White Chapel and Warner Christian Academy Are going to be on the Mission Field in Ecuador May 2016!
They are in the process of building a relationship as a team, learning Spanish, and of course fundraising. You
are invited to join with them, as part of the home team, choosing to support them in prayer, and/or contribute financially. Visit the “Blessing Board” located in the White Chapel reception area, on Sundays, to meet
members of the team, and learn about the mission. You can pick an envelope off the board, and place your
donation by cash or check (made out to White Chapel Church) into the “Blessing Box” right there.
If you would like more information, or want to make a donation without visiting the Board, you may contact
Peri Pardo 386-416-8987 or Misty Lewis 386-767-5470.
