General Sale Information:
Directions: From Nashville, take I-65N towards Louisville,KY. Take exit #117
and turn right (East). Go approximately 1.8 miles and turn right on New Deal
Potts Road. Go about 1.5 miles and turn left on Riggs Road. Follow Riggs Rd.,
about 1.5 miles until it dead ends into North Happy Hollow Road. You will be
in front of the sale facility. Signs will be up.
From Kentucky on I-65, it will be the first exit in Tennessee.
Air Travel: Tennessee (BNA) airport is located approximately 45 minutes
from the farm.
Terms: Terms of the sale are cash. Payment to be made to the clerk
immediately following the sale and before cattle are removed. Purchasers or
their representative must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale site.
Billed Accounts: All billed accounts are due and expected within 10 days of
the sale date.
Insurance: Will be available for your purchase at the sale.
Health: Each animal will be represented by a state approved health
certificate for interstate shipment. Buyers should make themselves aware of
the health requirements for their respective states.
Breeding Guarantee: All cattle sell under the Suggested Breeding
Guarantee recommended by the American Shorthorn Association (ASA).
Tibial Hemimelia/ASA Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an animal is
listed on the ASA “genetic defect status list”. The ASA makes no representation
of any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.
Registration and Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees or
applications for registration.
Announcements: Made sale day will take precedence over printed material
in this catalog.
Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be
cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time. Neither the owners,
employees, auctioneer, sale consultant, sale manager or other affiliated
personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make very effort
to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending.
Transportation: We will make every effort to coordinate trucking with cattle

manner. If you are unable to attend the sale personally, simply contact a

day.

We couldn’t think of a more deserving cow to be lot #1 in the catalog than the
matriarch of our herd. We are proud to offer some exciting progeny opportunities
out of Dottie. Dottie is just a model cow. This cow has done it all. From producing
the Show Heifer of the Year to producing good functional cows to herd sires.
We are offering choice of 2 spring 2016 ET heifers. They are sired by two of
the hottest sires in the breed right now Little Cedar Aviator and KOLT-RGLC
Simplify 330X. The Aviator heifer is a red neck roan born on Feb. 18th and the
Simplify heifer is due on April 9th.
The winning bidder can take choice of these 2 heifers and they will sell with their

This was the first Looker calf born and the first one in production and we couldn’t
be any happier with how she has turned out. Ideal size, easy fleshing and an ideal

Open. When we decided to use an Angus bull as clean up on our virgin heifers, these
two heifers are what we had envisioned. Sired by our calving ease son of New Design
5050 that is out of an up and coming young donor at Deer Valley. S185 is a nice size,
adequate muscling, smooth front end and should be an outstanding cow. It would
be hard to come up with a better set of EPD’s than what this heifer has. Out of a full
sister to Asset, you could have fun mating her a lot of different ways. Her dam sells

Sue 85 is a long spined, big boned and sound female in a very attractive package. A
line bred CF Roan Sue 644 that comes from a great brood cow that always produces
great calves. Sue 85 will get your attention because of her length of body and

Open. When our good friend Wayne Temple called us and said he found a THF
daughter of Mattis 31P and that she needed to be in TN, then we knew she had to
be a good one. We were sure glad to partner up with him. Then to make things even

Sable Rose 15 is a very nice, stylish, feminine heifer backed by great genetics. Her
dam is a genetic full sister to Sullivan’s donor Sable 01. Add Sable to the great CF
Roan Sue and our Hope’s Diamond females and she will produce some great ones.
She will stamp her calves with class and perfection. I had planned on retaining this
Sable but we are digging deep in our replacement females to have a high quality

This heifer’s unique color pattern isn’t the only thing that will make you notice her

This cow is one of my favorites. Here is just a solid cow that has done a great job

This outstanding bull calf was at the side of 1033 when we bought her and was
one of the deciding factors for us to purchase her. Sired by the calving ease Prime
Time Paymaster that is doing such a good job at Sullivan’s. This calf has continued to
impress us and those that have seen him. Nice smooth front end, good rib shape and
